This is our 5th time here & we will come back for sure! The ingredients, the flavour exploration, the taste journey, etc. Everything was tasty & fun to discover. While every meal we had in Quebec City was good in its own way, Legende was outstanding, truly in a class of its own. There were 4 people in our party. Each of us ordered 2 plates, plus shared a dozen oysters & dessert. The bison, carrots & artichokes were absolute standouts, but all dishes were carefully crafted with a complex combination of mostly locally regional ingredients. We finished with ice cider & a pear cake with ginger ice cream. The chef, kitchen & all the staff take great pride in their work & it shows!! Thank you Legende for a special evening.
Perhaps our palate was not accustomed to the ingredients of the 6 course tasting menu. For the $$$$$ price, this was disappointing to us. The portions were small, but getting all 6 courses, we left with appetites satiated. The bread & broth were good, as was the dessert; the rest of the courses, for the most part, had pleasant, savory flavors, but nothing stood out as excellent. The least favorite, which we ate little of, was the bison & a root vegetable. It tasted good, & appeared appropriately prepared, but both the bison & the root vegetable was tough & hard to chew. The staff was very attentive, & sincerely seemed interested in our enjoying our meal. It was very difficult to understand their English, with such a heavy French accent, for my Southern U.S. ears; even after several semesters of French in college. The food was artfully arranged . . . Great presentation, you might say. I would recommend this to adventurous souls that enjoy experimental cooking/flavors that have a lot of extra cash to spend.

Great service & amazing food. We went for the 6-course menu, & everything is tasty with a balance of flavors. I can tell that the ingredients are of high quality - according to them, every ingredient is grown locally. One pf the best highlights of my trip in Quebec!
Genuinely one of the best fine dine meals I've had! Every dish felt thoroughly thought through about how best to highlight the local ingredients, all the while tasting very delicious & very balanced. We opted for the legend wine pairing & my goodness, on its own the wine is great but with the food, it's a whole other level - the flavour complement each other really well. The service was also very nice & they were very attentive! The environment was very warm & relaxed for a fine dine establishment, which I very much enjoyed (great alternative indie pop playing in the background as well). We even got some little gifts to take home which was a very nice touch! All in all, Reddit was correct, 10/10 restaurant, 10/10 meal, 10/10 vibes, 10/10 experience!

Probably the best restaurant in Quebec, you need a reservation weeks in advance. Unless you are like us, preferring to dine on the earlier side. We had the tasting menu which delighted us with every course. All the ingredients are sourced locally & changes depending on availability. The service was above & beyond perfection. As was the clever wine pairing. If you have the funds, this is a "must do" meal when in Quebec city
All the food sources local ingredients the pairing was on point for most of the dishes. The service was good but for this type of restaurant it still needs to be improved the attention to check on additional requirements or needs during the dinner was slow in some moments just to get more water other than that every aspect is carefully selected in the food.
My wife & I visited Legende for dinner last week, & the experience was phenomenal. The entire staff was engaging, informative, & attentive. The drink menu seemed expertly curated, with really smart wine pairings for their tasting menus. & the food was so good I expect this will be one of my most unforgettable dining experiences. We really admired their commitment to using ingredients sourced from within Canada, if not from Quebec specifically. They also allowed for substitutions or customizations based on dietary restrictions (not always a given with tasting courses), which we did not require but appreciated. The waitress had a keen eye in noticing my wife was pregnant, & was very sweet about it. Overall, we were so satisfied with our experience, & hope to return if/when we revisit Quebec.
