Seriously awesome food (from 2 New Yorkers)!

(1) we tried their 6 course tasting menu. Their portion size & pacing had us feeling full by the end of dinner
(2) they gave us the best Bloody Mary my husband & I have had
(3) they were really accommodating to our dietary restrictions & preferences. I'm a pescatarian & they tailored their tasting menu to my diet
(4) we love mushrooms & tomatoes.. & they had some great dishes with both these ingredients! Our server Chris even gave us some tips on how to forage & find our own mushrooms in the wild :)
(5) my husband loved the bison gravlax. An interesting idea that he never thought of but thoroughly enjoyed!

The only criticism we had... was that their dessert wasn't as impressive as their actual food. It's not that their dessert wasn't good but their food was just so good. For a restaurant & not a bakery/cafe... that is not a bad thing!

A bit over rated, Good service, interesting presentation of chef's six course meal. Top quality food.
Thought that with its high ratings, restaurant might have more ambiance as it was sort of a tired, rustic look.

Un vrai plaisir! Épicurien! Nous avions demandé un 6 services avec accord mets & vins. Ce fut une expérience fabuleuse pour nous, agrémentée par des gens passionnés. J'ai choisis l'accord mets & vins sans alcool. A chaque arrivage de plats nous avions une description impeccable de la composition du mets par nos serveurs & un verre de vin soigneusement sélectionné ou un cocktail sans alcool créé spécialement pour venir s'harmoniser avec le tout & apporté à la table par son créateur lui-même - venait compléter chaque plat. Nous avons eu pas moins de 6 personnes qui se sont succédées pour rendre cette expérience inoubliable. Je dois dire que l'expérience sans alcool était un spectacle à lui seul qui en valait la peine & qui suscitait des regards envieux de mon entourage! Excellent service selon notre rythme. Plaisir gourmand garantie.

Notre plus belle expérience gastronomique pendant notre séjour de trois à Québec. Un chef très talentueux ( coup de foudre pour le Bar entier & la salade de palourde) & une équipe super dynamique, accueillante & chaleureuse.que du plaisir!
