Excellent restaurant, had a wonderful experience. Well-presented & delicately-flavoured dishes. Very elegant dessert. Serving staff were friendly & passionate about the dishes. I would recommend anyone go there when in Quebec City!

Notre première fois au restaurant Légende a été parfaite. Le menu création & l'accord mets-vin nous fait découvrir des saveurs boréales, exclusivement québécoises & canadiennes. Le service était impeccable.

First time visiting Quebec. & this was the most excellent meal, best service, upbeat atmosphere we experienced. We highly recommend. Ida & Ken

Belle présentation de repas où on perçoit l'effort d'utiliser des produits du terroir. Nous avons pris l'accord vin & mets. Sur 6 services, 3 nous ont plu. 4 des 6 vins étaient quelconque, avoir su, nous aurions pris seulement des vins à la carte. Trop cher vs ce qu'on aurait dans des restos comme l'initiale ou le St-amou

With SO MANY amazing restaurants to choose from in Quebec City, we chose Légende par la Tanière, based on reviews & the fact that all ingredients are locally sourced. Being Canadian that means a lot to us. My husband & I are lucky enough to have eaten at incredible restaurants all around the world, some Michelin Star, & some back-alley hidden gems..... Légende par la Tanière, was absolutely incredible! It was just as good or better as The meal we enjoyed at one of Gordon Ramsay's restaurants . We enjoyed the 6 course tasting menu, & wine pairing ( I also suggest trying one of their Old Fashioneds- so good). It was truly a culinary journey starting at the IMPECCABLE service. From the moment we walked through the doors, to when we paid the check, the staff went over & above. Every course was artfully displayed on the plate, well explained by our servers, & delicious!!! I'm still thinking about the buffalo cheese, & honey butter/ bread course. My husband can't stop raving about the venison! We were celebrating our anniversary, & they gave us a complimentary dessert course with wine, which is unexpected but added so much to our experience. My husband & I can count on one hand our most memorable dining experiences, & this one just bumped a few down the list. Well done!
