We visited this restaurant a whopping four years ago, so this is a fashionably late review.
Four years later we still talk fondly about this place as one of our best dining experiences. Hoping to come back to Quebec City soon & will surely revisit.

If you're looking for something wonderful, totally local, & not like anything you've ever experienced before, this is for you. It's not cheap. But it's definitely worth the price. The restaurant prepares everything (& I do mean everything) from local sources. For example, they don't have lemon trees in Quebec. But they have things that are cleverly made with lemon balm, which IS grown locally. I highly recommend the tasting menu. It's over $100 per person, but worth it for the experience of so many incredible, distinctive, & wonderful flavors. The other problem (besides the price) is that everyone at the table has to order the tasting menu, or everyone goes a la carte. So try to agree ahead of time to go for the gold: the tasting menu. Otherwise, order two of the mains & a dessert & make sure others are willing to share. Portion sizes are not big at all, but not ridiculously small either. One of the a la carte mains will probably not fill you up, though. The tasting menu has 7 courses including smaller amounts of mains, & that will definitely fill you up. For most of us, this is definitely a splurge financially. But as a great way to remember a few days in Quebec City, it's very hard to beat. Everything tasted amazing.

Me & my wife were in QC for a rare weekend away from the kid, & picked this restaurant for our big date night. It could not have been more perfect. The ambience was beautiful & relaxed, the service was attentive & friendly, & the food was incredibly delicious, unique, local, & perfectly balanced. Could not have been a better experience.

Nous avons été déçus de notre expérience. Nous avons l'habitude de se gâter avec un resto gastronomique deux fois par an depuis des années. Malheureusement, notre souper d'hier n'était pas à la hauteur du coût demandé. Nous étions 4 & avons pris le menu dégustation. La nourriture était bonne mais pas wow & le service très très ordinaire. Long délai d'attente pour le premier service & décalage pour le service du vin. On a commandé une bouteille de rouge après le blanc pour l'avoir avoir la viande, nous l'avons eu après ce plat.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Seuls petits bémols, assiettes chaudes pas assez chaudes, les portions pourraient être un peu plus généreuses & ambiance plutôt bruyante. Merci.
