We visited Légende Restaurant Boréal in Québec City for a special celebration this summer, & it was a truly standout experience. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere struck the perfect balance between refined elegance & warm hospitality, setting a wonderful tone for our evening.

While the bold, avant-garde flavors were a unique departure from our usual preferences, we were deeply impressed by the kitchen's innovation & the high caliber of technique that earned them their Michelin star.

The service was consistently excellent-professional, attentive, & highly coordinated. One thing to note is that the team operates on a precise timeline; they move with purpose to keep the experience flowing, so you'll want to be ready to keep up with their expert rhythm!

Between the staff's incredible attention to detail & the stunning setting in the heart of Old Québec, it was a deeply memorable night. Légende is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the cutting edge of Québécois cuisine in a world-class environment.
This creative menu/tasting menu is absolutely divine. Everything about it was so amazing, perfectly paired, & I loved the addition of the introduction of the raw ingredients in the container to show you from the start to the finish on the dish.
I also had the non-acoholic pairings & the cocktails were mind-blowing!
Fun Fact - they will be going into renovations starting at the end of February 2026, expanding the kitchen to allow for more of an open concept. This menu will be up now (Jan 2026) until they close for renovations.

We booked a New Year's Day reservation at the end of November & ordered the tasting menu, which was fantastic. There were 6-7 small plates with a variety of fish, meat, pasta & vegetables & everything we had was incredible. There was also an option to add fresh oysters beforehand, which were absolutely delicious. It was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish, with excellent service, incredible food, & a romantic atmosphere. When we return to Quebec, we will definitely be back!

Quel plaisir de découvrir des saveurs inconnues pour nous & nous laisser porter par ce menu à l'aveugle.
Les accords quels qu'ils soient étaient parfaits, tous les plats, de la mise en bouche au café étaient excellents.
Le service est très bon & très pro que ce soit le sommelier, la serveuse principale ou les serveurs qui présentent les plats.
Je retire juste une petite étoile au service car nous avons attendu une vingtaine de minutes une boisson oubliée à l'apéritif & plus de 15 minutes nos cafés (alors que le rythme au cours du repas était régulier).
L'addition est forcément élevée mais l'expérience, la carte, les vins & le service le méritent.
Food was overall very good & the service was excellent. The steak (main course) was really not pleasant though. It was super chewy & felt like eating a piece of gum. The couple next to us seemed to have had the same experience. The dessert quickly redeemed the experience & was overall a very nice dinner!
This was amazing restaurant! Food was excellent, Jeff the bar chef twas great, he was very knowledgeable about the wine & drinks! & we had the best service! Great Ambiance too!
