I got a chocolate bar with mint candy & it was nice. The lady who served me was rude. She was busy doing something else & didnt seem interested in taking orders. Adding more staff who will treat customers better snd speak both English & French will help their business. The food was good.
Meh. Pastries were decent. Pretty corporate feeling space. Coffee was borderline undrinkable with the amount of grounds in it.
we came here November, there's no line & it's already decorated for Christmas.
food is GOOD, especially the pastries chocolate twist. macarons were okay. their mushroom is the best.
they also let our dogs dine with us, they ate ham from the ham & cheese croissant.
Delicious pastries & bread. Loved the baguette & the mushroom soup!
Amazing pastries, can really taste the quality of items. Very affordable pricing as well. Coffee was from an automated nescafe machine which needs improvement but the pastries were lovely
The canelé's dough was dense & felt like it did not rise properly, instead of being custardy on the inside. The other pastries felt on the chewy side too, instead of light & crisp.
The latte is served in a wide handleless mug (or rather a bowl), which is cute as it encourages you to warm your hands on it.
Didn't have a sandwich or use the bathroom… so I won't comment.
The pastries?? OMG!! I've never tasted anything so delicious in my life (& I'm a senior)!
I'm not sure where the poor reviews come from, but I guess opinions & experiences vary.
That said, during my first visit of the day, I met a woman who lives in QC & she walks past other shops to buy their croissants.
The lines can be discouraging & I'm sure how busy they are can affect the service.
That said, only other customers were rude… the staff were courteous given the circumstances (the girl waiting on me asked a woman blocking access to the till to move 3 times… I elbowed my way in)
Lovely experience as always. Its a big tourist stop for croissants & pastries. I really enjoyed their chicken & bell pepper sandwich. Coffee was delicious too. We love their croissants.
