Choquette is an absolute gem in Quebec City & easily one of my favourite pastry spots we visited during our trip. Their choux pastries are phenomenal & beautifully executed with flavours that are both creative & balanced. My personal favourites were the salted caramel, pistachio berry, strawberry, & the passion fruit with pineapple. Their pain au chocolat was also excellent & perfectly flaky.
We enjoyed it so much that we visited multiple times during our stay in Quebec City. On our final day, we even placed an order in advance to bring desserts back home for our family in Toronto. The staff were incredibly friendly, thoughtful, & accommodating throughout the process. They kindly ensured the choux were filled at the very last minute so they would remain as fresh as possible for travel.
Even after the flight back to Toronto, every pastry arrived perfectly intact & tasted just as incredible. That level of care & quality truly stood out. I cannot wait to return the next time I'm in Quebec City.
Excellente pâtisserie française. Le pain au chocolat avec 3 barres de chocolat à l'intérieur est délicieux.
Je vous recommande de réchauffer vos viennoiseries en fin de journée car elles sont un peu molles.
Aussi, acheter les chouquettes fraîchement faites car elles deviennent molles en fin d'après midi aussi.

Chouquette c'est incroyable. Chaque viennoiserie ou pâtisserie est un délice. Les choux, le chausson aux pommes, les pains au chocolats, les gâteaux - il n'y a JAMAIS de faux-pas. Les produits sont excellents, le service très bon aussi.
Vous ne regretterez pas. Les prix sont comparables aux magasins du même style mais Chouquette c'est un autre niveau.
Nous venons de finir le Paris-Brest. Un délice.

Pâtisserie Chouquette is an absolute gem. We tried a cream puff & a pain au chocolat, & both were outstanding-but the croissant dough was next-level. Flaky, buttery, perfectly layered-I'll be craving & dreaming about that croissant for years to come. You can see the bakers at work behind the counter while you wait in line, & the whole shop smells like rich, quality melted chocolate. They use local, high-quality butter in all their desserts, & you can truly taste the difference. It's the kind of place that turns a quick stop into a core memory. My only regret is that it's 3,000 km from my home-if I lived nearby, I'd be a regular. Don't miss this spot if you're in Quebec City. It's worth going out of your way for.

AMAZING! We stopped by three times on our trip to QC.
Croissants, almond croissant & pain at chocolat were all amazing. Simple, buttery, very flaky & so, so good.
Cheesecake (I beleive it was a basque cheesecake) was incredible. Again, so simple, but such a rich & delicious flavour.
Chouquettes were fun - different flavours like sour berry, maple pecan, hazelnut, & fruit. They were well made - about $2.75 each. I think there is a discount if you buy more than 4.
We also got a hazelnut cake. Imagine a Ferraro Roche but 5x the size.
Service was great & could speak English.
Closed on Mondays. Things sell out fast! Make sure you buy when you can :)
