The Brunch buffet, The food was good, service was 5 star Michelin, excellent atmosphere.
Huge variety of food.
desserts were 5 star, meats were 3-4 star, sides were good.
Service & atmosphere justify the price... the food does not.
We got a better chicken meal the night before for a fraction of the cost.

Nous avons eu le plaisir de venir bruncher à la Place Dufferin au Château Frontenac avec un groupe d'amis, & nous avons passé un excellent moment. Le brunch était délicieux, avec des produits de grande qualité & un très beau choix de plats. Le service était impeccable du début à la fin. Un merci tout particulier à Christopher, notre serveur, qui a été très gentil, attentionné & professionnel. Il a contribué à rendre notre expérience encore plus agréable. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

A great place for breakfast or brunch. Wonderful view of Dufferin Terrace & the St. Lawrence River. Food was outstanding & service impeccable.

Solid hotel breakfast buffet with comforting breakfast classics & friendly service. Came here for breakfast during our recent stay at the hotel. Given the size of the Fairmont Frontenac, I anticipated its restaurant to be busy, especially in the morning. However, I was surprised to find out that it was almost empty when we arrived at around 7:30 AM. The buffet selections were fairly basic. It featured a decent range of savory & sweet items, including waffles, scrambled eggs, breakfast pastries, fruits, & an array of charcuterie like prosciutto & cheese. So I ended up getting only one plate, & some of the standouts included the freshly squeezed apple juice, the ham slices with horseradish sauce, & the croissant. However, the other items on my plate were fairly average in comparison. One of the servers insisted that we try their maple pudding, & it turned out to be a nice sugary finish to our meal. Its flavor & texture reminded me of honey cornbread drenched in maple syrup, & its comforting & homey taste was quite pleasing. For guests at the Fairmont Frontenac with complimentary breakfast included, the Place Dufferin buffet is a convenient & satisfying option. However, if you have to pay out of pocket for the buffet, I'd suggest exploring other breakfast or brunch restaurants around town as there are so many better options.

The brunch buffet is incredible, the food is so good, service is awesome. This is NOT "Le Champlain" with it's 80$ meals, it's the brunch buffet (around 180$ for 3 people, tax & tip included), same floor as the Terrasse Dufferin (when you enter the Château through the valet doors, go down one floor). We love it!
