My boyfriend & I went to tea time which is absolutely worth the money. You get free 3 hr valet service with a reservation & tea time only takes about an hour & a half, so that's free parking in Old Quebec. Everything we ate was fantastic with the surprising exception of the macarons, which were overbaked & crumbled immediately in the mouth. The tea service was incredible; I didn't know that tea could be that much better. The pear & maple panna cotta was a dream & the scones, which are served with mouthwatering clotted cream, jam, & marmalade, are like biting into a confusing pillow (in a good way). The savory sandwiches were great, & we especially loved the smoked salmon. There was also a wonderfully talented pianist who played during the service.
The brunch buffet is incredible, the food is so good, service is awesome. This is NOT "Le Champlain" with it's 80$ meals, it's the brunch buffet (around 180$ for 3 people, tax & tip included), same floor as the Terrasse Dufferin (when you enter the Château through the valet doors, go down one floor). We love it!

Très bon petit-déjeuner, nourriture & variété excellente, personnel aux petits oignons, gentils & serviables, magnifique vue sur la terrasse Dufferin. Privilégiez la section plus intime d'une vingtaine de personnes.
Fabulous place, but the afternoon tea itself was a letdown. The sandwiches & the cakes are very small. The Scones are alright, but the accompanying jam & the cream were very runny, unlike the British ones. The staff are attentive & friendly, but they don't really serve you much. The interior is nice & the atmosphere was great. They need to learn a lot from the traditional English afternoon tea venues in England.
Amazing! I love the breakfast buffet that they offer. On our last day at the Chatue, we were served by the lovely waitress, Isabelle. She made our last day memorable & fun as she was very personable even if it was a short period of time. Thank you for your hospitality!
Great place for a afternoon tea, pianist was great & service very nice, food was a let down, it didn't seem as refined as it should be & not very elevated. Very pricey for the quality of the food.
