About

Pub des Borgia serves a focused selection of hearty pub fare anchored by traditional smoked meat preparations. Slices of tender, spice-rubbed brisket are piled high on artisanal rye bread to anchor a menu centered on classic sandwich craftsmanship. The interior features a rustic atmosphere that prioritizes functional comfort over decorative excess. Every dish emphasizes straightforward preparation methods to highlight the savory profiles of cured proteins. Guests encounter a concise beverage program designed to complement the heavy, salt-forward flavors of the primary food offerings. This establishment maintains a disciplined approach to simple, filling meals that rely on consistent quality rather than elaborate culinary experimentation or complex plating techniques.

We just had drinks here
which were different local draught beers which were excellent & cold.
We also discovered later that their beer prices are very reasonable compared to other places in the same area.
We enjoyed sitting outside & noticed couples taking advantage of the special Sunday rate for Mimosas (€5).
The interior is interesting as one almost feels one is on a cave.
Good clean toilets.

What a fantastic experience from beginning to end! The atmosphere is warm, lively, & full of character-the perfect place to relax with friends or enjoy a great evening out. The staff were genuinely welcoming, attentive, & made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.

The food was excellent, with generous portions & great presentation, but what really stood out was the quality & flavor. The beer selection was also impressive, with plenty of great options & knowledgeable recommendations from the staff.

Every detail, from the friendly service to the vibrant ambiance, made this a memorable visit. It's clear that the team takes pride in what they do. I would happily return the next time I'm in Québec City & highly recommend Pub Borgia to anyone looking for great food, excellent drinks, & a wonderful atmosphere. A well-deserved five stars!

Very pretty spot in petit Champlain. The beer flight of 4 beers is good & big servings! Dog friendly outside. Friendly & good service.

Cute little pub in a great location in Old Quebec. The French onion soup was very filling & the beer was refreshing. They have a nice patio out front to people watch & enjoy the warm weather.

Best pub we found in Quebec. Selina was the most incredible host & such a wonderful soul.
Great selection of beers, cider & wine. Only had the crab cakes as a snack, but they were delicious & the dressing on the salad was amazing. Highly recommend!

During our trip to Quebec, my wife & I stopped by Pub des Borgia. It's a cozy little spot in a great location, right in the middle of Old Quebec, which makes it easy to pop in while exploring the area.
This was my first time trying French onion soup, & I've got to say, it was really good. I can't compare it to any other place since it was my first time, but I enjoyed it. The flavor was rich, & it felt like good comfort food, especially on a cool day.
We also had some wings & a couple of beers. The wings were tasty & the beer hit the spot, nothing over the top, but solid & just what you'd expect from a good pub.
Overall, it's a nice spot to relax, grab a bite, & enjoy a drink after walking around.

Cosy little pub. The food we had wasn't great though. Probably the worst croque monsieur I have had. Loved the wood burning fire though & the beer was Ok.
