I celebrated my birthday here & had shots of maple whiskey, which were so yummy. Baptiste was super nice & made the evening even better.
Worst French onion soup I've ever had. Wrong cheese (mozzarella ) & a thin tasteless broth. Service was indifferent, didn't finish soup, told the waiter how disappointed we were & we got an'oh sorry to hear that' & still charged full price, $40
Perfect place to step away from the old Quebec crowds if needed. Staff were friendly & attentive. French onion soup was wonderful. For adults looking for a little extra Quebecois feel, have a shot of Sortilege maple whisky.
Cute little pub in a great location in Old Quebec. The French onion soup was very filling & the beer was refreshing. They have a nice patio out front to people watch & enjoy the warm weather.
This place has a lovely atmosphere & one of the best French onion soups I've tasted. They also welcomed my service dog inside to sit with me. Definitely will be coming back!
Loved it !
Friendly staff .
Known for French onion soup.
Good food offerings with fresh ingredients.
Worth a stop while out exploring.
Wanted a nice warm place to get a bite & a nice drink. Had seen this place in our wandering yesterday & thought that looks nice. It was beautiful, warm welcoming & cosy. Try the loaded French Onion Soup, its one of the best we have had & hit the spot to perfection
During our trip to Quebec, my wife & I stopped by Pub des Borgia. It's a cozy little spot in a great location, right in the middle of Old Quebec, which makes it easy to pop in while exploring the area.
This was my first time trying French onion soup, & I've got to say, it was really good. I can't compare it to any other place since it was my first time, but I enjoyed it. The flavor was rich, & it felt like good comfort food, especially on a cool day.
We also had some wings & a couple of beers. The wings were tasty & the beer hit the spot, nothing over the top, but solid & just what you'd expect from a good pub.
Overall, it's a nice spot to relax, grab a bite, & enjoy a drink after walking around.
