We arrived late at night in Old Quebec & this was the only place still open. Great food (the onion soup was better than many I had in Paris), exceptionally kind service (even for Canada standards) & the music was awesome. Cheers to this place! I would come back every night here!

Went in for the French Onion Soup & we were not disappointed. It was excellent! Personally, I would have preferred croutons under the cheese, but they had a slice of bread. The soup base was delicious & not too salty. The wait staff were great & very friendly! Bravo! Highly recommend!

Friendly staff but kitchen is slow. Had lunch at 130pm, had a French onion soup & croque monsieur. Both dishes have tons of cheese that was still a bit hard from not being thoroughly melted. Food was not hot & only ok flavour-wise. Higher prices due to touristy location. Disappointing.

Perfect location by the oldest stairs in the city. Really good onion soup & sandwiches. Great beer & wine selection, especially some local items. Friendly staff! Great for English speakers, too.

Bel endroit, agréable. Il est possible d'y jouer des jeux de société tout en prenant un verre, ce qui rend l'expérience encore plus plaisante. La soupe à l'oignon & les crab cakes étaient délicieux. Le seul bémol c'est que le service n'est pas égal.

Sans prétention, simple & très chaleureux (même très chaud 😂) 🥵 comme le suggérait le tableau à l'extérieur : il fait froid, entrez vous réchauffer, on a l'impression qu'un four à bois brûle & produit de la chaleur quelque part. Soupe à l'oignon, superbe, nachos des neveux, sublime, croque madame à la viande fumée, délicieux. Les bières & le Mimosa parfaits. Jeux de société ou livres pour passer le temps. Le grand chef d'orchestre de la place, chef, cuisto, marmiton, plongeur & serveur à lui seul est rapide & efficace en plus d'être plaisant & courtois Chapeau! Pas d'extravagances, parfaite halte pour satisfaire sa soif & une fringale.
