We had an incredible dining experience at Shiraz. From the moment we walked in, we felt warmly welcomed. The atmosphere is cozy, elegant, & full of authentic Persian charm. Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious - beautifully presented, richly flavored, & made with obvious care & love.
The kebabs were perfectly grilled, the saffron rice was fragrant & fluffy, & the stews were packed with deep, comforting flavors. The portions were generous, & the service was outstanding - attentive, friendly, & thoughtful.
If you are looking for an unforgettable meal that feels like a true cultural journey, Shiraz is a must-visit. We can't wait to return & try more from their menu!

Shiraz is hands down the best Persian restaurant in Quebec! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm hospitality & the rich aroma of grilled meats & saffron-infused rice. The ambiance is cozy yet elegant, perfect for both casual dining & special occasions. Their special plate is an absolute must-try! It comes with one juicy Jujeh (chicken kabob), two perfectly seasoned Koobideh (ground beef kabobs), & a tender, flavorful Barg (filet mignon kabob)-all grilled to perfection. Served with fragrant saffron rice, grilled tomatoes, & fresh herbs, every bite is packed with authentic Persian flavors. The portion size is generous, making it perfect for sharing or indulging solo if you're really hungry! The service is top-notch, & the staff genuinely care about providing a great dining experience. Whether you're a fan of Persian food or trying it for the first time, Shiraz is a must-visit. I'll definitely be coming back for more! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This restaurant is a must visit if you're in Quebec City. It's affordable & so delicious. It's abundant, well served, the saffron rice is exquisite, the chicken is so tender & well marinated, their stake is wow ... I have no words to describe how good it is this place. & please, order their coffee, you won't regret it.

We were glad to find this restaurant on our way back to our hotel from the Plains of Abraham. The restaurant had just opened for lunch when we arrived, so there was no difficulty in finding seats. The staff were friendly, & the food was delicious with generous portions. We had ordered the chicken kebab with rice & the salmon with rice. The dishes were flavorful & very satisfying. The only con is the long wait period for the food to arrive at the table after placing the order. I am talking about more than 45 minutes. From the other reviews, the wait seems to be the norm here. So, it's not an ideal choice when you are famished.

If Iranian cuisine is new to you, be sure to remember that having equal portions of rice & stew/kebab/fish on your spoon is the best approach to fully enjoy the taste of Iranian food 👌🏻.

We came for a late lunch. The staff was very friendly & the food was delicious & was served pretty quickly. The Ghormeh Sabzi was a favorite. Love the way the rice that comes with the entree has tadig.

I had never had Persian food before, & this was a delightful introduction. Everything was busting with subtle & complex flavors. The server was friendly & knowledgeable, & helped us pick out some good options. They had vegetarian options for my husband, & the lamb I had was tender & flavorful. If you can, save room for dessert! Get a cup of Persian tea (it comes with saffron rock candy) & the rice flour dessert....so decadent!

Wow - favorite food in Quebec so far! Forget the touristy areas, this is where to find flavor. Don't forget the rice-flour & saffron dessert, & the dessert tea.

I came here while visiting Quebec , & it was really good. The saffron rice is very delicious & the ground beef kebab (Koobideh) was also fantastic. The food was fresh & made with quality ingredients. Our waitress was very kind & helpful. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

We tried this restaurant for the first time tonight, while staying at a hotel in Quebec City. We had it delivered to our hotel. The food was DELICIOUS!!! We had lentil soup, Kobbideh (accompanied by saffron rice & roasted tomato), mast-o-khiar, & side salad Good portions. Excellent Persian food. Thank you!
