Premièrement il est important de savoir qu'il faut réserver pour une place, sinon s'essayer plus tard en soirée pour une table. Leur formule faite ainsi permet de prendre le temps de manger & prendre un verre avec les gens qui nous accompagne. Second, j'y suis allé avec ma conjointe & sa mère pour l'anniversaire de celle-ci. Beaucoup d'options sans gluten pour ma conjointe coeliaque, de plus que nous avons appris qu'ils ont un restaurant externe qui offre des commandes en ligne sans gluten, du poulet frit & super bon! Cette dégustation offerte nous fera revenir garantis! Ensuite nos plats étaient tous très bon, belle cuisson, gouteux & les sauces toutes bien assaisonnées. Dumplings wagyu, edamame(assaisonnement correcte), burrata, poulet au brocolis, boeuf à l'orange & les côtes levées. Tout était excellent. Je dois avouer toutefois que leur bière wong est pas mauvaise, mais elle pourrait être améliorer. J'ai conclus mon repas avec un Old Fashion, wow c'était une belle présentation & le meilleur que j'ai bu jusqu'à présent. Enfin je tiens à souligner l'excellent service de notre serveuse en plus de ses connaissances aguérie du menu & son attention aux besoins allergènes de ses clients. Les propriétaires sont également très gentils. Un gros merci pour vos attentions spéciales à ma conjointe ainsi qu'à sa maman pour sa fête. C'était très gentil & nous avons adoré notre choix de restaurant pour cette soirée. Je recommande & nous y retournerons. P.s. pour avoir été à ce restaurant avant la pandémie, y retourner maintenant n'est que plaisant. La qualité de la nourriture se maintient, la beauté du restaurant est très bien maintenue & également adaptée, c'est vraiment bien de voir que la succesion du restaurant ont à coeur ce qu'ils font. Beau travail !
Absolument fabuleux! Nous espérons y retourner bientôt. Le principe est de la cuisine cantonaise "fusion", donc des plats à partager. Nous avons pris : - Les dumplings au boeuf wagyu (frits) - Les egg rolls au bison - Les dumplings au homard & chanterelles, servis dans une savoureuse bisque - Le poulet Shangaï, servi avec des légumes rôtis & légèrement fumés avec de longues & épaisses nouilles, dans une délicieuse sauce soya (si vous aimez le macaroni chinois, c'est un must!) - Le chow mein aux crevettes, servi dans un délicat bouillon & des nouilles ramen al dente Sans compter les cocktails originaux & savoureux! De plus, les portions sont très généreuses & le personnel, sympathique & attentionné. La facture est un peu salé, mais cela vaut le coût. Attention : les places sont limitées. Il faut réserver à l'avance.
Really nice atmosphere. Service was on point. I can only speak for the orange chicken & the wonton soup. For the price, the quantity of food was minimal & while the ingredients were definitely fresh, it just didn't impress.
3.5/5 Friendly service. Really enjoyed the "Wong beer". For this price range, we were expecting something more surprising & refined. Generous quantities, we suggest to ask the size of the dishes.The lobster dumpings were not available when we were there.
I'll say upfront that when I booked the reservation, it wasn't done through a website/portal, it was by emailing the staff directly. Normally I'd be queried about allergies, but in the course of trying to secure a res at the hot spot that is Wong, I forgot to specify my wife's bivalve allergy. After walking all over the city, we were starved & exhausted. We showed up only to discover that there was no way for her to eat at Wong. Apparently, all the food is cooked in one singular wok, & they cannot prevent cross-contamination. So either she ate hummus with a fork (because the chips are fried in the one aforementioned wok), or she went hungry. I wouldn't say the staff was empathetic, & it took almost 20 minutes to hash the conversation out. Maybe it's as good as people say, we wouldn't know.
