Was craving Chinese, so decided on this place based on the reviews & how long they've been around. Unfortunately, I was disappointed.

I ordered the mapo tofu & requested extra spicy-& boy, did I get extra spicy. Unfortunately, the heat seemed to come mostly from black pepper rather than red chili peppers, which completely changed &, in my opinion, ruined the flavor the dish should have had.

I also ordered the General Tso's chicken, which was actually pretty good. The crispiness of the chicken was just right, & I enjoyed that dish.

The hot & sour soup could have used more of both the hot & the sour. It tasted like it was on its way to being what I expected, but just didn't quite get there.

Service was pretty good overall, although it did take some time for both the appetizers & soup to come out after ordering.

Overall, there were some hits & misses, but unfortunately, I left feeling underwhelmed.

Had reservation at 6.30pm & arrived at 6.25 take about 10 minutes to order & take about 45 minutes to get our appetizer & hot & sour soup , soup does not taste like hot & sour, & general chicken ,good & tender but ma po tofu is not good, way too peppery too much pepper. & when the server brings the food, his Finger is inside the food. Bad hygiene 🤨

C'est une première à cet endroit.
Je n'ai vu que de bons commentaires sur les réseaux sociaux & c'était mérité.
De l'accueil jusqu'au départ, le service est exceptionnel & attentionné.
Le menu est varié, excellente carte des vins & cocktails.
Nous avons opté pour la table d'hôte, c'était excellent aucun regret.
Important de réserver pour s'assurer une place.

Wongs is an incredible chinese food experience ! Loved the food , the staff & the authentic ambiance. Some of the best chinese food i've had outside of China! I will be back & will never be able to leave Quebec city without at least having one meal at Wongs. Thank you ! 10/10!!

Excellent cuisine chinoise préparée avec des ingrédients locaux. Probablement la meilleure soupe won-ton que j'ai jamais mangé! Service impeccable & belle ambiance.
