Quelle belle expérience nous avons vécue dimanche le 21 juin pour l'anniversaire de ma conjointe ! Tout ce que nous avons goûté était délicieux, en commençant par les egg rolls de bison & les dumplings de boeuf Wagyu. Que dire de la soupe wonton ! Le bouillon est tellement délicieux & parfumé, rempli de belles saveurs ! Ensuite, le boeuf à l'orange était à la fois croustillant & juteux, avec un véritable goût d'orange. Que dire des nouilles Shanghai : une explosion de saveurs, avec ce goût de wok absolument incroyable ! Ma conjointe a carrément dit que ce sont les meilleures nouilles qu'elle ait mangées !
Pour finir, les côtes levées ! Je ne veux pas voler le slogan de quelqu'un, mais c'était bon à s'en lécher les doigts !

We decided to go with the table d'hote for 2 - times 2 as we were 4 people. If there is 4 of you one order for 2 people with extra egg rolls or soup would be plenty!
The wonton soup was delicious- the broth had a lot of flavour as did the wontons.
The Bisson eggroll was spectacular!! So crispy & flavourful. I was expecting it to be more gamey but you would never know it was Bisson. The chow mein, General Tao chicken & RIz à la cantonaise rice all very good. The service was great, friendly, the food did not take long & we would recommend their beer as it's a nice light beer that goes well with all the food.
This place has been open for over 40 years & we have always wanted to give it a try but everytime we are in town it is closed! This year we were in luck. Busy place & a nice loungy type of vibe which I was not expecting. The menu is interesting as they have hummus & a burrata dish (not your typical Asian dishes) & the egg rolls are a mix of bison & pork. Hubby ordered the won ton soup & the egg rolls to start which he enjoyed. We ordered the beef & broccoli & the general tao chicken to share. Both dishes were quite good. I'm not sure how'authentic' you could consider this restaurant but it is good!
Nous sommes allés souper au wong , vraiment trop cher pour si peu. Nous avons prit General Tao & boeuf au brocoli. Cependant nous avons prit du riz car avec les plats il n'y avait rien .impossible de manger du General Tao , 5 max. De poulet seul. Très decus. Ça ne vaut pas le prix. 1 bière & 1 verre de vin.Total 104.63 sans le pourboire. Au niveau du service excellent, serveur gentil & à l'écoute. 20 juillet 2025
Nous sommes rentrés par hasard mais nous n'avons pas été déçus ! Au contraire, la cuisine est raffinée & abordable, chaleureuse & généreuse. Je recommande la soupe wonton mei, les meilleurs raviolis au porc que j'ai jamais goûté. Belle découverte pour la crème brûlée soja en dessert. Mocktail délicieux 😋
Véronique nous a accueilli chaleureusement vers 17h25. Nous avons pu nous relaxer avec un bon cocktail en attendant la table d'hôte dégustation incluant deux entrées & trois plats principaux, suivi de thé & de biscuit de fortune. Mon ami a prit un gâteau au chocolat & noisettes en plus.
Tout au long de l'expérience, j'ai essayé plusieurs breuvages qui ont rehaussé l'expérience inoubliable.
J'ai bien aimé les épices dans le rouleau de printemps à l'agneau & la soupe Wonton. Nous avons quitté vers 21h fort satisfait du tout.

We had a dinner earlier this evening. It was the first time for me after the renovation was finished. I used to eat here once a week some twenty years ago. The restaurant's transformation included a an upscale dining atmosphere- the space was significantly upgraded with culturally themed images of women on the lighted ceiling, the exposed stonewalls & soft candle light in the fireplace made the dining area romantic, & the black fabric tablecloths covered by simple yet practical craft paper added a nice touch. Regarding the new menu, I was very impressed- offerings included vegan, vegetarian, & meat, fish, pork & poultry options. I really like the creative dishes which incorporated many Québécois delicacies. I had the vegan miso hot & sour soup & the vegetarian Szechuan noodles & both were delish. They have a full bar, & a nice sampling of wines & beers. I enjoyed a pot of jasmine green tea followed by a pot of oolong tea. Reservations are now required & the book up quickly. Additionally, there is no takeout foods anymore.
Excellent restaurant - nice ambiance, polite & friendly staff & the food was impeccable. We had Wonton Soup, Shanghai Noodles & Beef/Broccoli - all delicious! Email to make a reservation. We honestly enjoyed the entire experience from start to finish. The service was great & we really liked the staff. Will definitely have to come back when we are in Quebec City next.
