Was craving Chinese, so decided on this place based on the reviews & how long they've been around. Unfortunately, I was disappointed.

I ordered the mapo tofu & requested extra spicy-& boy, did I get extra spicy. Unfortunately, the heat seemed to come mostly from black pepper rather than red chili peppers, which completely changed &, in my opinion, ruined the flavor the dish should have had.

I also ordered the General Tso's chicken, which was actually pretty good. The crispiness of the chicken was just right, & I enjoyed that dish.

The hot & sour soup could have used more of both the hot & the sour. It tasted like it was on its way to being what I expected, but just didn't quite get there.

Service was pretty good overall, although it did take some time for both the appetizers & soup to come out after ordering.

Overall, there were some hits & misses, but unfortunately, I left feeling underwhelmed.

Wongs is an incredible chinese food experience ! Loved the food , the staff & the authentic ambiance. Some of the best chinese food i've had outside of China! I will be back & will never be able to leave Quebec city without at least having one meal at Wongs. Thank you ! 10/10!!

It was awesome! I went with my parents, we got the specialty menu & everything was perfect! No complaints whatsoever, I highly recommend stopping here for some fine Chinese cuisine:)

I had a delicious & memorable meal at Restaurant Wong. The restaurant at has been in the family for several generations, & the current Chef, Steven Wong & his team have created a contemporary upbeat vibe. Classic Chinese dishes are elevated with a fine dining touch. The natural wine & cocktail program is well curated to pair with the cuisine. Although I loved each dish, the seasonal wonton soup & dumplings were awesome! The fried wontons that came with the gorgeous edamame hummus were also delectable & I could have shamelessly eaten them the whole dinner. Service was friendly & attentive. Restaurant Wong is a must visit for anyone seeking a fresh, modern Chinese dining experience & I can't wait to return. As a note of caution, this little gem is very popular with locals & tourists alike. Booking in advance is essential during peak holidays & weekends.

Wow! Chinese foods in Rest Wong hits different. We had a nice experience tonight. The staffs are really good & very attentive. They are very welcoming to their guests which is a star for us

interesting & delicious quebec influenced variations of North American Chinese restaurant fare. Warm, cozy & calm atmosphere with few tables, but never felt crowded or loud. Old stone walls & wood provided nice charm. We ordered the price fixed menu for 2 & portions were large enough to have leftovers. Gen Tsao chicken, Catonese chicken both delicious. Will definitely be returning. Advanced reservations recommended.
