We visited Resto-Bar LIMA on the 21st of June at 7 30 pm. It took 15 to 20 minutes for the server to come to our table about a hour for us to get the food. The appetizers were totally forgotten. Mains came directly
Food was very average. Nothing notable. I was very disappointed. My experience was far below what I expected seeing their rating.
It was a very nice dinner, great food & cocktails, excellent service! The ceviche was delicious as was the cocktail Pisco Sour. I would highly recommend Resto Bar Lima!!
We visited this restaurant one evening & were really excited to see there was live music. The singer was performing Latin music & honestly brought such a great vibe to the place. Unfortunately we didn't get his name, but he was very talented & kind, so props to him for making the atmosphere enjoyable.
Our experience with the service & food, however, was disappointing. Our server, a blonde girl, seemed like she was not enjoying being there at all. She wasn't rude, but her energy felt very dull & disconnected the whole night, which affected the experience.
The wait time for the food was also extremely long - around 30 to 40 minutes. When the food finally arrived, it was very underwhelming. We ordered the chicharrón mixto, & for the price, the portion of chicharrón was surprisingly small. The fries were also disappointing, which was frustrating because fries are usually hard to get wrong.
We also ordered chaufa fried rice, but the texture of the rice felt overly soft & mushy rather than properly fried. On a positive note, the ingredients did taste fresh, which we appreciated.
The drinks were very tasty but they put way too much ice.
Still, overall, the meal was disappointing enough that we barely ate it. We took the food to go, but honestly after only a few bites we had already lost interest in finishing it. The live music was definitely the highlight of the night, but sadly the food & overall service did not match the atmosphere.
We had a wonderful time at Resto Bar Lima. My husband picked the place because of its amazing reviews, & what a treat it was. The pisco sour was amazing, & we loved the pollo saltado & choritos a la chalaca. Everything was fresh & full of flavor.

Extrêmement déçu, cela fait quelques fois que j'y vais & je n'ai vraiment pas aimé mon expérience, & cela viens de quelqu'un avec plus de 15ans de travail en restauration. 3 serveurs & aucun service, du tout! Ils ont pris 25mins avant de me servir un verre d'eau, 15mins de plus avant de prendre ma commande (en fait j'ai dû les interpeller durant une de leurs multiples conversations pour que cela se passe) & après encore plus de temps d'attente (au moins 20mins) j'ai demandé mon plat pour emporter. Ils m'ont fait payer aussitot & quand j'ai expliqué pourquoi je ne laissais pas de pourboire, le serveur s'est retourné & a dit au barman'es enojado' (ce qui veux dire'il est faché') au lieu de s'excuser du délai & du service & demander comment y remédier. J'ai continué d'attendre pendant 15 autres minutes à regarder mon plat assis sur le passeplat avant de finalement le recevoir. La personne qui me l'a donné semblait surpris que je sois faché & à essayé de faire la conversation mais apres autant d'attente je n'étais pas d'humeur. J'adore la culture péruvienne & y à meme passé beaucoup de temps a y voyager. J'aurais compris si c'était occupé mais certainement pas, en tant que serveur je suis capable d'offrir un minimum de service meme en plein achalandage, alors c'est simplement inexcusable. Ce qui leur sauve est que le plat était comme toutes les fois ou je l'ai mangé à leur établissement,'su'a coche' comme on dit (j'ai donné une étoile à la nourriture simplement pour mieux signaler mon mécontentement). Mais ca va me prendre du temps avant de leur donner une autre chance dans le futur, j'espère que c'était un cas isolé parce que le professionalisme n'était pas au rendez vous. Encore une fois, etrêmement déçu!
Ambiance incroyable assurer par de la musique en direct! Nous avons hésité pour prendre la Barquo, se sera pour une prochaine fois, mais tout était très bon!
