Je dois avouer que je ne comprend pas les review précédentes. On est allé souper avec un groupe d'amis samedi soir & on a tellement été déçu. On s'était fait parler de l'ambiance, du bar & de la qualité de la bouffe. Finalement le band est parti a 21h un samedi soir alors que le resto était plein. Pour le service, nous avons reçu les entrées en même temps que les plats principaux & nous avons commandé des cocktails en fin de soirée pour se faire dire après avoir reçu la facture qu'on devait quitter 20 minutes après. La nourriture était bonne sans être exceptionnelle.
Tucked into the heart of the Saint Saveur neighborhood this gem boasts flavorful cocktails, fresh ceviche & stunning steak! Restaurant Lima, is a cozy bar & restaurant perfect for families, friends & couples. My wife, my teenaged daughter & I dined here & it felt like home. Our server Dorthee was fluent in English & French, so friendly & as energetic. We watched as she worked the room, mixed cocktails & took orders, she set the tone for the evening. We had octopus with purple mayo & beef empanada to start, my wife had one of their signature cocktails & none of them disappointed. The flavors were bright, tropical & savory. The octopus appetizer was fresh, light & flavorful, the olive oil mayo kept the taste light & it was brightened by a spritz of citrus. The empanada was crisp & airy & served hot out of the oven. For the main course we had the sea food risotto & our daughter had the steak strips & fries. The risotto featured all kinds of fresh seafood as described in the menu, topped with ceviche white fish & it was everything we hoped for & more, the flavors were fresh & lively! The steak & fries (a Peruvian specialty) was so savory & they chargrilled the tomatoes to perfection, it all melted in your mouth. The vibe was as vibrant as this up & coming neighborhood, as mentioned above it seemed like a local gathering place for couples, friends & families. All in all Restaurant bar Lima, is your cozy kick back in the heart of Saint Saveur, staff is friendly & energetic & the food is outstanding! We will definitely visit again.

Lima Resto Bar is an absolute gem! The food was incredible, easily the best Peruvian cuisine I've ever had. Every dish was full of flavor & beautifully presented. Even my picky eater kids were raving about it, which says a lot!
The service was just as impressive. Gerson was extremely friendly, attentive, & welcoming from the moment we walked in. The location is also super convenient, with plenty of street parking nearby, which made the whole experience even better.
Highly recommend Lima Resto Bar to anyone looking for authentic, delicious Peruvian food in a relaxed & inviting setting. We'll definitely be back!

Experience très étrange. La nourriture & excellente mais la serveuse a refusé de nous servir. Tout simplement! Le serveur au bar s'est occupé de nous de façon acceptable mais c'était comme si on dérangerait. Vraiment pas plaisant.
C'était super! La nourriture excellente, Mlle Dorotea très attentive & souriante. L'ambiance était super, pas trop forte la musique, ça a donné la chance de parler entre nous sans avoir besoin de lever le ton de voix :) C'est sur qu'on va revenir & conseiller à nos ami.e.s de faire un tour pour découvrir Resto Bar Lima!
La nourriture est savoureuse & l'ambiance sympa !! Nous avons essayé le "Barco" qui contient plusieurs types de plats. Il s'agit d'une activité de dégustation à faire entre amis pour découvrir des repas classiques péruviens !! Un resto à découvrir & retourner !!
