Fun, lively atmosphere with engaging & knowledgeable staff. Delicious & well-executed dishes & we loved the creative pairings. One of the best meals we've had in a long time!
What an amazing experience! The chefs are the waiters & waiters are the chefs with kitchen right in the middle of the restaurant; Every dish was exactingly constructed before our eyes! Then the waiter/chefs brought the dishes to the table & explained in detail the food & the local sources. Some things I have never tasted before including the amazing dessert made with Haskap Berries! I don't know if any other restaurant will ever live up to this experience!

This was a phenomenal tasting menu with very creative dishes & flavor combinations. The morel mushroom dish was outstanding & the dessert was an unexpected surprise of mushroom, couscous & fresh herb that I want again! Truly an amazing experience, thank you!
Came here on a rainy Thursday night with my son while visiting Quebec City. Sat at the table right next to the kitchen. So close, we had a front row seat. It was clear how each team member loved their job & took great pride. We had the 5 course price fixe & ordered a few glasses of wine, The food was quite unique, all sourced locally & absolutely delicious. The team explains each dishes ingredients & preparation which adds to the experience. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're visiting QC.
Five stars on friendly & dedicated staff, but 2 stars on the food itself. We applaud the creative daring that went into the unusual dishes, but unfortunately, all but one or two of them completely missed the mark on the most basic requirement of good cuisine: the food must taste delicious & make you want more. The restaurant has a great energy. Keep working at it.
The dining experience at Arvi was excellent. My wife & I had the regular & vegetarian menus between us. All of the dishes were well balanced & showcased great local ingredients. The foie gras & lamb with mussel dishes were stand outs. The service was friendly & pacing of dishes was good considering that the staff cooked & served. Wonderful to have sat next to the prep table & got to interact with the cooks.
It was hard to pick a favourite dish out of the 5 courses (& foie gras add-on) - I was certainly delighted with the duck, but did not expect that the corn would be such a highlight in that dish as well! Every dish had something a little unexpected that left my taste buds excited. Even though the food was undoubtedly the stars of the show, each wine that went with the dishes was also superb. & we were taken care of by the excellent staff, who took the time before each dish to explain the concept & ingredients to make sure we got the most out of tasting them. A fabulous evening!
Dishes are not only creative & beautiful, but also delicious. We are not French speakers. Staffs are super friendly to help on winr pairing & answered our questions. One of the must try restaurant in Quebec City.
Very pleasant service, waiters all share their tables, all cook, know sommellerie & will answer all of your questions.
Menu was great, weaker dishes were arguably the pepper & the pork. Pepper should've been served 2nd or combined with something more robust like a fermented chili, fragrant oil. Very well seasoned, cuisson exquisite but the profile felt all on one level. Pork & apples is a great combo for an a la carte menu. Needed more complexity to make it worthy of a tasting.
Big strong yes on the wine pairings. Also kudos on championing Quebec ingredients.
Overall, very skillfull chefs, very pleasant ambiance. Reasonable price. Can't wait to go back !
