Wish I had dined here during my 3 day visit. Cappuccino made w care delivered w 1 inch foam top. Omelet was more like a fritatta covered in spinach & cheese (gruyere?). Crunchy outside, soft inside potatoes. Only regret is that I should have eaten the crepe while it was hot, yet it was a sweet end to a meal that was too large to finish.
June 2026 update. We were in Quebec City once again & came for supper. We split the Smoked Salmon crepe containing salmon & goat's cheese. Delicious. Followed by splitting a Strawberry & ice cream crepe. So very delicious. The meal was so good that we returned the very next morning for their breakfast menu. A great restaurant with great food & a great staff. Merci beaucoup!
A great meal with great value. Again. Each time we are in Quebec City we come here for a meal. Always so tasty!
This is an absolutely gorgeous breakfast spot! A very cute atmosphere, an extremely friendly lady servicing & super delicious food. We had an omelette with spinach & cheese, which came with some fruit, toast & fried potatoes & a french toast. It were very generous servings! To make the vibe complete, there were French chansons playing all the time.
A Quebec City classic! It's a great place to go for breakfast. Servers were friendly & it has a quaint atmosphere. The crepe with cheese & bacon was delicious.
We came here for lunch. The crepes were well executed. The apples added some sweetness to the ham & Swiss cheese which made it very balanced.
Very good crepe shop. It is in tourist area some prices are a little pricey but not overly so. We had one sweet strawberry & whip cream & a savory one with cheese & mushrooms. They both were delightful & reminded me of a crepe shop in New Zealand
Visited Quebec for the first time, & Au Petit Coin Breton was the first restaurant where we got food. We were met by a kind lady who knew English & helped us navigate through the menu. I ended up ordering the best food of my life!!! Onion soup was very cheese & saturated. The other thing that I ordered had the best combination of flavors (mushrooms, ham, & cheese). All this is worth the price! Other waiters were checking in with us all the time. Best experience when traveling! 🫡
Great little cozy place for lunch or à dessert ! Classique ham & cheese on sarrasin is a must with a nice glass of cider or a coffee chocolate with Chantilly Truly recommand from someone who's from the region of galette bretonnes!
Look no further. This is the one you are searching for! My family loved the savory (ham & cheese) & the sweet (banana & nutella) crepes. The french onion & split pea soup was also splendid. Also the coffee & hot chocolate (chocolat chaude) were terrific. The prices were fair. The ambiance is local & authentic. We tried a lot of local cuisine, & this was tops.
We shut the place down on a Wednesday evening with savory crepes made with buckwheat("galettes" in France) & filled with combinations of shredded meats, melted cheese, fried eggs, & mushrooms. Delicious! Sweet crepes filled with pears & whipped cream for dessert. The best part was a server with a wonderful sense of humor who enjoyed her work!
