Wish I had dined here during my 3 day visit. Cappuccino made w care delivered w 1 inch foam top. Omelet was more like a fritatta covered in spinach & cheese (gruyere?). Crunchy outside, soft inside potatoes. Only regret is that I should have eaten the crepe while it was hot, yet it was a sweet end to a meal that was too large to finish.
Such a cute establishment! It is packed with charm & feels like you're having a meal in someone's cottage.
We stopped in for breakfast before work & the service & food were both phenomenal. I had the Classic Breakfast with one egg, bacon, potatoes, toast, & a small crepe. The bacon was crispy just the way I like it, the potatoes were well seasoned, & the crepe was such a nice touch & so delicate, yet rich in flavor. Has to be one of the best crepes I ever had! They also have an extensive crepe selection if you want to order a larger sized one that's either sweet or savory.
My colleagues split the'La Fernande' which was a massive crepe with eggs, Parisian ham, & your choice of a vegetable, all stuffed inside & covered in hollandaise sauce. They got the mushrooms & said it was really good.
Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a great breakfast spot exuding the charm of Quebec City.
Ordered one salty & one sweet crêpe, both are great, particularly the salty one tastes like good chowder soup in crêpe!
Crepes here are excellent, both the savoury & sweet ones. My prefer is for the dessert crepes. The portion was quite big for us. Service was also good. Could see the chef cook the crepes.
Rather intimate & quaint, as expected from name, this place has good crepes at fair prices, especially the chef special. If you get savory, I suggest the buckwheat, as the somewhat sweet farina doesn't quite fit. Surprisingly for tourist row, most patrons seem to be speaking French, & waiters, though quite competent, also seemed to prefer it- which is what I look for in Oder to hear & practice a bit.
There's a reason this place has a line out the door. Our family enjoyed both savory & sweet crepes Best breakfast we had in Vieux Quebec!
We came here for lunch. The crepes were well executed. The apples added some sweetness to the ham & Swiss cheese which made it very balanced.
Very good crepe shop. It is in tourist area some prices are a little pricey but not overly so. We had one sweet strawberry & whip cream & a savory one with cheese & mushrooms. They both were delightful & reminded me of a crepe shop in New Zealand
Nice spot for a breakfast with a great location. We had the eggs benedict & the classic breakfast with bacon. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The crepe was a nice touch, especially since the plate was already pretty filling with fries & toasts. The fruit was sweet & fresh. Service was good & overall it's a solid place to start the day.
