My first stop on my arrival from USA . Beer was cold & tasty on draft . Cheese plate was good quality . Great view & people watching from patio . & my bartender / waiter was friendly . Mercy!

Great location in Lower Town. Wonderful old building.  Friendly, great staff & delicious food.  We really enjoyed our seafood chowder & fondue.  Thanks for a great lunch!

Sortant de l'oncle Antoine, mon Google m'a avisé que le pape Georges était un restaurant encore ouvert.
Je suis entrée, &, naïve, m'attendant à un climat convivial comme l'oncle Antoine, j'ai voulu m'insérer dans une conversation.
Résultat? Du gaslighting comme j'en ai rarement vu, ayant jusqu'à justifier le port de mon chapeau pour expliquer ma présemption à m'intégrer dans une conversation.
J'ai demandé au serveur & à la serveuse présent.e.s si cette altercation était normale. Le serveur a dit qu'ils avaient bu pas mal depuis 15:00 (il était passé une heure) alors que la serveuse a les a défendu.

Bien que le serveur ait eu une réaction que j'ai jugée normale, la réaction de la serveuse m'a laissée particulièrement froide.

Ayant déjà eu affaire à des employés plutôt weird à cet endroit, cette dernière expérience me confirme que je n'y retournerai pas.
Cela dit, les employés présents à ce moment m'ont bien renseignée concernant les restos ouverts aux alentours .
