Wife ordered the Bavette & I had the Filet both grilled perfectly 👌. Louis & Carolyn were exceptionally professional & served our food pretty quick & there was a couple dozen already seated ahead of us..the food was a perfect portion, well balanced flavours & textures. The mashed potatoes were really really good...I mean reaaaallly good. & the pepper bourbon sauce 😋 👌

We arrived at this charming restaurant right next to the VIA train station at 1:45 PM, just 15 minutes before the kitchen closed at 2 PM. Despite the late hour, the staff were incredibly kind & accommodating, warmly welcoming us & reminding us of the limited time to order.
We opted for the steak & salad, & every dish exceeded expectations. The cauliflower soup was creamy & bursting with flavor, while the steak was cooked to perfection as requested, accompanied by a richly flavored sauce. The fries & potatoes were delightful, & the salad was elevated by its excellent dressing. Even the pork was impeccably cooked.
What truly stood out was the staff's exceptional hospitality, they were so friendly & understanding of our train schedule, making us feel right at home.
I particularly want to express my gratitude to the female staff member who assisted us; her kindness & efficiency were invaluable, & I regret not asking for her name.

Viande cuisson Pittsburgh ok mais très froide à l'intérieur dans une assiette très chaude. Sauce au vin & sauce au poivre allongées à l'eau chaude tellement elles ne goûtaient rien… Frites extra 6,50$ parmesan très parsemé romarin quasi absent avec sauce aïoli à la truffe mais aucun goût de truffe ni odeur… Pour vrai cafés alcoolisés excellents & cornichons aussi mais viande froide, sauce à l'eau & frite à la Charbon très décevants!

Absolute must go, I have gone here every year for my birthday the past 3-4 years & plan to continue the tradition! The staff is wonderful, the food is amazing. Try the escargot, thank me later. Été la un jeudi soir pour deux. L'ambiance est très intime, c'est juste assez éclairé pour avoir une belle ambiance. Très bon service. Bonne fondue parmesan. Le steak de 16oz New York est tout simplement délicieux, mixé avec la sauce poivre & brandy. Petit bémol pour le gratin de pomme de terres dauphinoise qui était un peu huileux. Excellente crème brûlée, de même que le cocktail Gin Ananas. Une 2e visite va devoir s'impose
Amateurs de viande vous serez plus que ravie au charbon! Le service était très bien, les plats étais excellent de l'entrée jusqu'au dessert en passant par l'incroyable plat principal! Nous avons tous étés impressionné par la qualité du repas, je recommande à tout les fans de viande! Le delmonico avec sauce au vin rouge & échalote confite était complètement hallucinant la sauce est tout simplement délicieuse!
Sincèrement ORDINAIRE! Commançons par le meilleur, le service est top! L'ambiance a rien de sexy/ au goût du jour. ( J'y suis allé il y a 10 ans & rien n'a changé.) La viande ... bonne Mais quand on me sert du brocoli gelé & un salade César avec des câpres, du bacon & une sauce qui goûte plus la ranch... ouin désolé du commentaire mais c'est la vérité!
The best thing about this place is the atmosphere. Warm, cozy, & upscale vibe with nice decor. The restaurant was full with a nice background buzz but you can still hear the people at your table talk. Attentive service but nothing beyond what would be expected at this type of restaurant. We were disappointed with the food. We ordered appetizers, mains, & dessert & nothing stood out. The New York steak was not flavourful at all & neither was the red wine sauce that it came with. It all tasted bland. I had to add salt & pepper from the table which is something I almost never do, & would not expect to have to do at a nice steakhouse.
