The best thing about this place is the atmosphere. Warm, cozy, & upscale vibe with nice decor. The restaurant was full with a nice background buzz but you can still hear the people at your table talk. Attentive service but nothing beyond what would be expected at this type of restaurant. We were disappointed with the food. We ordered appetizers, mains, & dessert & nothing stood out. The New York steak was not flavourful at all & neither was the red wine sauce that it came with. It all tasted bland. I had to add salt & pepper from the table which is something I almost never do, & would not expect to have to do at a nice steakhouse.

The restaurant is okay. If you're looking for a cozy, Quebec City style of restaurant, this is probably not the right place — it's a large, 2-floor steakhouse.

The food was okay. The steak particularly was great, but the sides had no charm.

Wine options by the glass not extensive, but have good options by the bottle.

The steaks we ordered were perfectly cooked & you can taste the quality of the meat. Service was okay, nothing special. I go there about 4-5 times a year & I cannot complain about the quality of the food. Service could be a little more friendly. If you are looking to enjoy a great steak in Quebec City Charbon Steakhouse should be in your top 3.

Un très bon steakhouse dans un emplacement idéal. Service & l'ambiance est incroyable. Les steaks sont excellents dans tous les sens. Probablement le meilleur steakhouse à Québec, c'est sûr!
