Quite possibly the most original, & inspired meal I have ever had. Tout était parfait!
Do not shy away from the seal meatloaf; it is phenomenal. If you're a beef or lamb lover, seal is not far off, flavour wise. I had the scallops as my main, served cassoulet-style with a barley risotto & tomato cream sauce.
Dessert was the pot de crème chocolat. Wonderful flavour & the hint of balsam fir was genius. A meal I'll remember for many years to come.

Exactly what your looking for in Quebec for food, atmosphere & service. The seal meat loaf was an adventurous dish & extremely delicious. The beef cheeks were heavenly as well as he streak in veal sauce. The chocolate dessert was probably one of the best things we've ever eaten.

C'est la 3iem fois pour moi & mon conjoint & honnêtement on va revenir à chaque année. On y va depuis 3 ans pour fêter notre anniversaire de couple & on capote toujours autant ! La soupe à lonion est un incontournable, elle est juste incroyable !! On a pris la poitrine de volaille & on a adoré aussi! Quoi dire des dessert la mousse au chocolat au sapin de baumier & la pannacotta très bon aussi ! On recommande à 1000% le boulay !

We had a lovely fourth meal at the Cafe. Terrific service & efficient kitchen. Would have appreciated a slightly larger menu & clothe serviettes. Surprised to see no sorbet or ice cream on the dessert menu for a softer end of meal dish. More greeneries would have been welcome as well. We like the Café a nd hope it will regain its full potential.

Amazing! The seal meatloaf & blood sausage were not things we would normally order, but we tried them & have to say they were incredible. Everything was perfect. The one thing I noticed was no freebies (dessert or even coffee) for anniversary, but perhaps those days are just over. Merci beaucoup pour une tres belle soiree!

Ambiance fantastique. Service amazing. Cocktail, wine & onion soup very very good . But our meat plate was so big & overwhelmed & the special of that night on saturday 13 was not appetizing. The chocolate dessert was over poweful with a special spice. I herd so many good things about Boulay so we were disappointed. Will need to try again on our next trip to Quebec city.
