In Quebec, Jean-Luc Boulay and Arnaud Marchand, supported by a passionate team, have been standing up to the challenge of inventing quebec inspired northern cuisine since 2012. Connecting the abundant proximity of boreal forests and the exceptional quality of local products, they salvage amidst french techniques to favour a true encounter of flavours. Fantastic food & dining experience. Highly recommend the French onion soup! I honestly think it was the best soup I have ever had. 2/4 of our party ordered the French onion soup to start, but after seeing our reactions the rest of the party ordered it as well.

This was on of the best meals we've had during our trip to Quebec! The food was freshly made with local ingredients, & the savors were very unique as a result! The presentation was also refined & respected the complex yet harmonious taste of the terroir of Quebec! Would highly recommend without hesitation. Make sure to leave some room for the amazing assortment of desserts!

Absolutely wonderful experience. The meal was exquisite & the best I have ever had. The service was also fantastic. Our waiter Philip was a delight. He knew the menu, made great recommendations & was very attentive to our table. I would highly recommend!

We had an unforgettable meal at Chez Boulay. As English speaking patrons, our waitress was incredibly kind & attentive during our meal. The prices were great considering the high quality food & wine we were served. Would recommend this restaurant to everyone that comes to visit Quebec City.
