Wow! C'est la troisième fois que je visite la place & à chaque fois c'est plein, accueillant & la nourriture est tout le temps fraîche.
Cette fois c'était pour six empanadas pour un lunch rapide avec des amis dont deux de chaque soit au boeuf, au porc & au poulet. Les trois avaient une pâte légère & croustillante qui enveloppait une saveur exquise & distincte pour chaque type d'empenada.
La petite sauce à tremper était savoureuse. C'est un vrai trésor ce petit restaurant si grand en saveurs & présentation. 🤠👍🏻
Délice absolue!! Tous est tellement bon, coup de coeur pour les empanada végé, le sandwich arepa mixte chorizo & poulet & le spécial de la semaine chaudrée de fruit de mer!

J'avais une amie colombienne quand j'avais 8ans, 25ans plus tard je reve encore des empanadas de son pere, n'ayant jamais réussit a en remanger de similaire.
& ben, 25ans de désir viennent d'être comblé.
Etant enceinte de 9 mois, affamés, hormonal on a prit un peu de tout sur le menu. Ma journée a passé de terrible à bonne humeur.
100% de ce qu'on a commandé était delicieux & les empanadas aussi réconfortant qu'un gros calin de grand-maman colombienne.
On a essayer de se rappeler la derniere fois qu'on a autant apprecier un resto dans la ville de quebec, mon conjoint a dis que c'etait La taniere. Pour vousdire a quel point c'etait bon !!!
Je me suis enfin arrêté dans ce restaurant colombien de Limoilou. Ça en vaut le détour, croyez-moi.
C'est un endroit très humble & sans prétention. Durant l'été, c'est d'autant plus agréable car on peut y manger sur de petites tables installées à l'extérieur. Il y a un bon choix au menu & il est possible de commander un ou deux plats qui permettent de goûter à chaque élément du menu.
Plats traditionnels colombiens; la cuisine est très bien exécutée : empanadas, chicharon, churasco, arepa, petit pain de maïs & j'en passe... Bref, c'est à essayer absolument !
On n'y va pas pour le décor, l'ambiance ou l'expérience resto; mais bien pour la bouffe.
Un petit bijou niché dans Limoilou! Très achalandé & avec raison. De la cuisine traditionnelle colombienne savoureuse (que dire des empanadas 😮) à bon prix + des bonnes portions. Le jus maison au fruit de la passion est délicieux! Je recommande. Un super bel endroit à découvrir!
Pedimos 3 comidas y una orden de empanadas. De sabor exquisito. Todo muy bueno. Lo único que en servicio le pongo 4 estrellas porque me dijeron tomaría 15 minutos y tomo un poco más y vi que algunas personas que fueron despues de mi tenían su pedido primero. Pero el sabor de la comida es el mejo

Auténtica comida colombiana sabe a la tierrita!! Mi esposo y nuestra familia vinimos de visita desde Ottawa y definitivamente volveríamos! Nosotros tomamos la bandida paisa, una arepa y las empanadas de carne 1000/10
Me encanta chez Carlos! Pedí un bandeja paisa que estaba riquísimo, igual el pedacito de la empanada que pedí mi esposo fue muy rico. Lo recomendó mucho!
Great place! It's pretty small (about 15 places total) & gets busy around late lunch on weekends. We tasted a little bit of everything & most of it was very tasty! The best were the chorizo (juicy & salty!), The fried (simple patacones) & green plantains were super good as well. The chicharron is a MUST; about 1.5inch thick cut with about 20% meat, 80% fat. Empanadas were nice & crispy, all 3 flavours were good, I preferred the beef one. The pork arepa was incredible! The meat was fatty & juicy & you had the freshness from the vegetables, it was a very nice combo of textures. Churros were crisp & fresh & came with a little dulce de leche dip (one churro & dip per order). The Bandeja Paisa is a big platter for the hungry! The steak (churrasco) was my least favourite, as it was tough, dry & lacked flavour in comparison to all the other dishes. Overall, great place & affordable.
La nourriture était délicieuse Les empanadas sont un incontournable & vous devez également prendre un jus tropicale (perso le mangue au lait est tellement bon) Les plats principaux sont très copieux! Peux facilement être partagé
