I was travelling in Quebec City & stumbled upon this place. Let me just say... WOW! It was some of the best Latin food I've ever had in my life, & believe me I'm a picky eater. I had the'bandeja paisa' which is mixed meats with rice & beans & everything on the plate just worked perfectly together. Also, the portion was BIG! The staff was friendly & attentive, & every member of the team asked me if everything was to my liking, ensuring a perfect dining experience. Highly, highly recommended.
I love small, authentic made food restaurants like this. The food is super delicious. Everything made fresh. The chicharron with the lime is so good. The plates are nice portions. I ordered the Bandeja Paisa with an extra egg & the Maracuyá (passion fruit) drink. Will definitely go back. The restaurant doesn't accept reservations, but I would even order to go because the food is just so good. Great atmosphere, music, wait staff.

Me encanta chez Carlos! Pedí un bandeja paisa que estaba riquísimo, igual el pedacito de la empanada que pedí mi esposo fue muy rico. Lo recomendó mucho!
Best Colombian food I've tried here in Canada. Carlos took so much care of our order & accommodate us outside because we had a dog. The seafood soup was out of this world, the patacones were absolutely delicious & so carefully crafted with so many flavours one better than the other!!! Last but not least we order the Bandeja Paisa & it did not disappoint at all!!! Thank you so much Carlos for everything!!!
Vraiment, que de bon repas de la Colombie, la bandeja paisa, estaba excelente, sabrosa, generosa, lis frijoles muy bien hechos tenía 2 carnes, huevo y, chicharrón, 🥑, plátano, frijoles, arroz. Miam miam Las arepas, también muy ricas y la picada excelente
Great place! It's pretty small (about 15 places total) & gets busy around late lunch on weekends. We tasted a little bit of everything & most of it was very tasty! The best were the chorizo (juicy & salty!), The fried (simple patacones) & green plantains were super good as well. The chicharron is a MUST; about 1.5inch thick cut with about 20% meat, 80% fat. Empanadas were nice & crispy, all 3 flavours were good, I preferred the beef one. The pork arepa was incredible! The meat was fatty & juicy & you had the freshness from the vegetables, it was a very nice combo of textures. Churros were crisp & fresh & came with a little dulce de leche dip (one churro & dip per order). The Bandeja Paisa is a big platter for the hungry! The steak (churrasco) was my least favourite, as it was tough, dry & lacked flavour in comparison to all the other dishes. Overall, great place & affordable.

Notre récente expérience au restaurant colombien a été une immersion délectable dans la richesse & la diversité de cette cuisine. Optant pour des options végétariennes, nous avons été agréablement surpris par la créativité & la saveur authentique de nos plats. Le choix végétarien offrait une palette de couleurs & de textures, mettant en valeur des ingrédients frais & bien préparés. Le plat principal, à base de plantains & de légumes, était une fusion délicate de goûts, créant une expérience gustative mémorable. Avec la sauce avocat coriandre qui n'est pas à manquer! La diversité des épices & des assaisonnements utilisés a ajouté une profondeur unique à chaque bouchée. Le service chaleureux & attentif a également contribué à rendre notre passage agréable. Le personnel semblait passionné par la cuisine colombienne & était prêt à partager des recommandations & des explications sur les plats. On a aussi essayé leur pain traditionnel farci au fromage & c'était excellent! En anticipant avec enthousiasme la fin du Carême pour explorer d'autres options du menu, nous sommes impatients de goûter aux plats traditionnels colombiens, tels que l'Ajiaco ou le Bandeja Paisa, qui nous ont été recommandés. Cette expérience végétarienne a été une introduction délicieuse, élargissant nos horizons culinaires & suscitant l'excitation pour les saveurs colombiennes authentiques à venir. Le restaurant a réussi à créer une ambiance chaleureuse & à capturer l'essence même de la cuisine colombienne, faisant de lui une destination à ne pas manquer.
