We showed up at 630 on a Thursday & were the only ones there for a bit. The ambiance was great for a speakeasy, & the drinks were also very good. What surprised is was how amazing the food was!

2023: Definitely does its best to go with the speakeasy vibe. Excellent, friendly service. The menu cocktails weren't exactly to my taste but if I described what I wanted, they would gladly oblige. For example, my friend got a nice twist on an espresso martini.
eard online that Justine was a cool speakeasy to check out in Quebec City, & it definitely lives up to that! It's super easy to walk right by it - look for a black door with black curtains inside, because there's hardly any signage. That hidden entrance really sets the speakeasy mood.
Inside, the vibe is cool, maybe a bit more hipster than I initially expected, but it's a nice spot with a definite Prohibition-era feel thanks to the decor & dim lighting. It felt like it might be even better for groups of four or more, as it's quite cozy & can get lively.
The main thing: the cocktails & beer were really good. If you're looking for that speakeasy experience in Quebec City, Justine is definitely worth a visit. There aren't many places like it around, & it's a fun find.

Ce bar de type speakeasy a tout pour plaire. Le service est excellent & les cocktails variés. Plusieurs combinaisons qui s'inspirent de l'époque de la prohibition avec une touche créative. Nous n'avons pas essayé les tapas, seulement les cocktails. Ambiance chaleureuse & accueillante.
Restaurant/bar de type speakeasy. Tout est parfait autant l'accueil, le service, les conseils, la nourriture & les cocktails. Le prix de l'addition a été élevé, mais c'est normal puisque tout était délicieux, alors nous en redemandions.
Nous étions les seuls clients à notre arrivée à l'ouverture à 18h, mais l'endroit s'est vite rempli un peu plus tard.
Ne vous fiez surtout pas à l'apparence extérieure du bâtiment, car derrière les rideaux se trouve un trésor caché. Je recommande sans hésiter.
Eli & sa gang de passionné.es (cuisine & bar) font toute la différence dans ce Speakeasy de Qc… un incontournable hautement recommandé. Scotch, Mezcal & bien sûr les cocktails seront vous surprendre même après avoir fréquenté bien des endroits de Cartagena à Oaxaca :) Enjoy!

Cool spot. Great ambience/vibes. Friendly bartender. & amazing drinks. We really enjoyed our pre-dinner cocktails at Justine, & were excited that we found a spot in Quebec that matched the speakeasy feel we were looking for. It was not busy at all when we visited (around 7pm on a Friday), & the service was very prompt. Highly recommend for any cocktail enthusiasts visiting Quebec.

This is one of the speakeasy restaurants in Quebec City, a hide gem. So I cannot disclose too much... But, if you are looking for a different experience (& you can find this place), you may have a wonderful evening going back in time. 🤫
