One of the best'poutines' I've had in a long long time.
The fries were perfectly cooked, lots of cheese curds & their poutine gravy is out of this world good.
I especially liked the fact that they put the gravy in a separate container for my takeout order, that way my fries weren't soggy & the cheese wasn't all melted into a huge pancake.
This restaurant is very small & simple (only a dozen seats available at the counter) but their food is really delicious & of very good quality compared to other places.
Their Poutines are all very delicious but their fried chicken is also very good… a must try.
The prices are also very reasonable for the quantity & quality offered.
The staff was very nice, welcoming, polite & efficient.
Highly recommend you try this place.

Awesome chicken! Amazing service!

We tried this little chicken place in Québec city in March 2025 based on some reviews & it did not disappoint.

Update: May 2025 we went back again & met the owner. She was just as nice as her staff. The meal was even better the 2nd time around. I wish i lived locally, I would absolutely be a regular.

Luis was so attentive & offered such amazing service, I absolutely thought he was the owner. He was genuine & kind...

Everything is homemade & we were told its a woman owned business!

The chicken is juicy & fried to perfection, the pickle sauce is absolutely delicious....if you are a pickle lover, you do not want to miss out.

The bbq sauce was sweet & tasty & we saw a poutine being prepared that made us want to ask the stranger for a bite.

The location has an old school diner counter feel & we are already looking forward to our next visit.

Attente élevée surtout pour les frites & j'ai été déçu .. probablement frite re réchauffer sec avec un goût de vielle huile. Poulet frit ok mais pas génial...sauce faite maison (bbq/ Buffalo /Poutine excellente. Bref va peut-être y avoir deuxième essai

WOWWWW très belle expérience acceuillante & chaleureuse chez la Baraque à Frites. Sérieux, je tiens à remercier le personnel de leur bien-être & générosité. La nourriture est savoureuse vraiment une des meilleurs poutines que j'ai mangé. On ne va pas oublier le poulet frit pané & mariné à la perfection ouf quel chef-d'oeuvre, je tiens à donner la note de 5 étoiles pour ce petit commerce qui vraiment surpasse les attentes! 5 étoiles merci encore La Baraque à Frites Marie-de-l'Incarnation!
