I had shrimp tacos & they were spectacular. Also purchase cheese bread balls - I forget the name. Highly recommend. Very yummy & authentic food.
Great food, delicious sweet bread. Good service, the coffee wow. I'm looking forward to seeing this beautiful restaurant again.
I am a Mexican guy & I can say everything is very tasty & original, I tried the chilaquiles they where perfectly spicy (for me) if you don't like spicy you can ask to mild it, delicious coffee & you must try sweet Mexican bread! Thanks Ulises for everything, we hope your business success for long time!
I really loved. The capuccino was perfect, the cheese bread & cinnamon roll were the best.
We ordered 3 different breakfast dishes & a side of churros. Everything was excellent. Great portion sizes. I really enjoyed the Chilaquiles with the spicy sauce (salsa picosa) with 2 eggs & shredded chicken. I ordered without sour cream, & they were delicious. I love that it came with a mini chapata bread, black beans, & a side of fruit. Very complete meal. The dirty chai was also delicious & well crafted. The churros were crunchy on the outside & warm & soft on inside. Perfect sweet paring. The owners & staff are very friendly. If I lived in Québec I would come here frequently for a latin breakfast!
Pisco sour, shrimp cocktail, & pescadillo all phenomenal! Great service w limited French. This was easily a top two restaurant for my week in Québec. Lobster bisque was cute in a little bread bowl, but I think the bread absorbed too much of the flavor for me & contributed to a soggy bread bowl experience. Would have loved a little more salt & depth in the bisque, & a crouton or something more textures to contrast. Still dreaming about that shrimp cocktail. Perfect!
We got here just before closing, so only got some bread (which is what we had come for). The olive bread was amazing!!!
Our family of four had an excellent meal at La Molette. The food is creative, beautifully presented, made with high quality ingredients, & with lots of heart & skill! The scallop dish (& the unique bread that accompanies it) were particular favorites, along with the tortilla espanola & the berry cheesecake (!!!). Our waitress, Natalia, was kind & attentive. At the end of our dinner, we got talking with her & learned more about restaurant, including that they are especially famous as a bakery. On our last morning in Quebec City, we returned to stock up on pastries & breads to take on the next leg of our trip. Despite buying quite a wide selection, barely any lasted past that morning! We understand the hype. On our return trip, we also heard more about all the different countries that the owners, chefs, & staff originally hail from - a great way to recognize Quebec City as an international community. These distinct backgrounds influence the food & vibe in great ways! Gracias, Natalia y todos.
Really cool spot. Was looking for an authentic bakery that sells croissants, baguettes, etc. This place was awesome. Great staff & great food. All bread baked on premises, & once you order, it comes out fresh.
Best bakery in Quebec, the atmosphere is great, very cozy! Nice variety in their menu &, the best of all, you can get fresh baked bread.
