We had the three-course tasting menu. They graciously accommodated two pescatarians & one vegetarian. The food was extraordinary. We are in debt to the individual who casually recommended this gem to us - what a wonderful night. The service was better than any restaurant we've been to in ages, & each dish was delicious: unique & perfect (& the wine pairing was equally wonderful.). It was our last night in Quebec City - & it was a great way to celebrate our great vacation. I would (& we will) come back just to come back to Le 101.

Tout à été absolument parfait! Le staff est super attentionné, la nourriture est fabuleuse & l'ambiance est vraiment agréable qu'on soit seul ou en grand groupe, tout le monde a sa place.

Gourmets d'ici & d'ailleurs venez découvrir ce restaurant : des plats travaillés, des saveurs subtiles, des produits sourcés avec soin & d'une fraîcheur affirmée & pour les curieux des bons vins un choix d'appelation ciselé. Lovely atmosphere, pleasant service, but please be forewarned, this is nouvelle cuisine to the max - not for the hungry. My entree could have been consumed in 20 seconds, although I stretched out the experience for a full minute & a half.Two scallops artfully arranged on the plate unencumbered by the aesthetic distraction of a vegetable or rice for $36 amounted to $9 per bite. The absence of any substance resembling bread simply enhanced the sense of je ne sais quoi . If this is the dining experience you crave, by all means go & bon appetit! For others, expect to enter famished & depart ravenous.
