Ce qui est présenté sur les réseaux sociaux ne reflète pas toujours la réalité. Le serveur m'a semblé désorganisé ou sur la brosse, la rapidité laissait à désirer & le repas était ordinaire, sans se distinguer d'un petit-déjeuner classique niveau'great value'. J'ai attribué deux étoiles, car je perçois une bonne volonté de la part de la propriétaire. Malheureusement, tout ce que j'ai demandé était soit indisponible, soit les équipements étaient en panne. Même les pommes de terre n'étaient pas à la hauteur. J'espère sincèrement qu'il s'agissait d'une mauvaise matinée pour votre établissement. Je tenterais de nouveau l'expérience, car la propriétaire est intervenue dans le service, mais cette fois-ci, j'espère que l'on me demandera la cuisson de mes oeufs, que du jus d'orange fraîchement pressé sera proposé, que le jambon ne soit pas un échantillon & que l'on viendra plus régulièrement à ma table pour s'assurer que rien ne manque... Ah oui, payer plus cher du lait végétal est légèrement abusif.
When visiting Quebec City this was our last stop before we headed back to Toronto. The food was amazing & our server was very friendly! I hope they open up a location in Toronto one day. What a great end to our trip
Nous avions réservé pour 10h30. Nous sommes arrivés à l'heure, mais personne n'était disponible pour prendre notre commande avant 11h30. On nous a dit qu'ils étaient débordés, & finalement, au moment de partir, ils se sont précipités pour prendre notre commande. Après avoir passé commande, les plats sont arrivés à 12h30, soit deux heures après l'heure de notre réservation. Il manquait des plats, certaines commandes étaient incorrectes, & le plat d'une personne n'est arrivé qu'après que tout le monde ait fini de manger, car le cuisinier avait oublié sa commande. La nourriture était correcte, mais le service était déplorable. Les serveurs sont aimables, mais l'attente est interminable.
A large group arrived around 10:30 AM with a valid reservation & waited over 30 minutes just to be acknowledged. Even after being seated, no one came to take their order or offer water. There was no urgency & no apology.
Their order wasn't entered until close to 12:00 PM, which caused a significant delay. When the orders finally came through, several were entered incorrectly, creating even more confusion. Drinks were repeatedly sent back despite being made according to the menu.
What was especially concerning was noticing two groups who appeared to be from a minority background receiving noticeably less attention than others. Whether intentional or not, the inconsistency in service was uncomfortable to witness.
At one point, I overheard someone from one of those groups who was clearly upset & emotional because they still hadn't received something as simple as an orange juice. It was obvious the poor service genuinely affected their day, which should never happen over such basic requests.
Watching customers sit there without basic service was frustrating & embarrassing. Management needs to seriously improve organization, staffing, & consistency in how all guests are treated.
I'm sorry, but this was such a bad experience. We made a booking for 11:00 am, the server didn't even seem to recognize our reservation or anyone's. We didn't get seated until like 25 minutes later. Got no water, no greeting, nothing. The waiter told us that it would be a 45-minute wait. We said we understood as it was a busy Sunday, however we didn't expect it would take 30 minutes just to have someone come take our order. & that was only because we fetched someone as it seemed they literally forgot about us. We also witnessed some racial discrimination of a brown family being ignored when they were also trying to order like us. So insane. They are never getting my business again. I understand being overwhelmed, but not even taking our order, forgetting basic water, & ignoring is not right.
Food came. There were so many things wrong, completely forgotten, bread came near the end of the meal? What were we supposed to do with bread at that point? Ordered an orange juice & never got it. I appreciated the apologies from the one waiter who actually apologized, but this place needs some changes. It was a mess. I think it's not all the staff's fault as they don't control everything, but the people in charge need to make changes.
& at the end of this all, the food was not even worth the basically 2 & a half hour wait.
