The only determint was a loud & slightly obnoxious group near our table. Not a thing that can be controlled by the restaurant. The Discovery Meal was a fabulous journey of tastes & textures with a theme of The Foods of Quebec. The wine pairing were perfect & we had the best three hours of eating while we spent our time in Quebec City.

Lovely time. Thank you.

Amazing staff. Mocktails were great & very creative. Wine pairing was fine, nothing interesting. Food was quite good.

What a fantastic discovery while wandering around Quebec City! One of the most creative & incredible meals we've ever had. Service staff was very knowledgeable on the wine & the food, pacing of the courses was perfect. Highly recommend if you're looking for a special dining experience.

Serious gastronomy highlighting Quebec fish, meats & produce with thoughtful wine pairings, including a few less expected selections that worked wonderfully with our dinner. Come hungry & unrushed & enjoy the six course tasting menu. Shout out to the pastry chef - it was no small feat putting a memorable coda on the evening but she pulled it off with not one, not two but three sweet goodbyes. Service was professional but not at all stuffy. Highly recommended.

Soup; No spoons. We ordered the 6-course tasting menu with wine pairings. They skipped a course. We only had 5 courses. They only caught their error after we counted the courses on our fingers & pointed it out. (Our tab was adjusted.) They served us two dishes containing'soups,' but were informed that spoons were not provided to help us eat those menu items. Curiously, spoons were available for other courses. As the main course, we were served very chewy duck with a skin that was not crispy.

The one bright spot in the meal was the choice of wines. We chose the less expensive pairing option, & all wines were very good.

We were in a dining room with a large mural that was distracting.

The pacing between courses was irregular. We once waited so long for a course to arrive that our white wine had warmed to room temperature by the time we were served the food that accompanied it. The meal took three hours to conclude.

Dining at Le Clan was an unforgettable experience. We chose the four-course tasting menu with wine pairings, & each dish was a showcase of local ingredients elevated through impeccable technique & creativity. The wines were expertly selected to complement each course, creating a harmonious flow of flavors from start to finish. What truly impressed us was how thoughtfully they accommodated dietary restrictions-my intolerance was handled with care & precision, without compromising the integrity of the meal. The warm, intimate setting of the heritage building paired perfectly with the attentive & passionate service, making the evening feel truly special. It was my first time there but definitely not my last.

I organized a business group dinner for 9 couples (18 people in total). The evening was FANTASTIC! Incredible food & wine parings. This is one of the best (if not THE best) group meals that I have ever had!!!
Big shout out to Mathew (Maître D) & Laura (Sommelier) as there were both incredible! Very knowledgeable & professional. Food is out of this world. Yes. I would definitely recommend this establishment. You won't be disappointed. Top shelf!
