What a terrific experience! We had a weekend brunch. The bread & scones were the best ever. The cold & hot dishes were delicious & unique. & the desserts were out of this world. Very relaxed & professional service. Highly recommend.

I was visiting town with my family & we got to try out this restaurant. We loved it! It was easy to get a reservation & to get checked in. We each tried the 6 tastings & loved all of the options. We also got to try their cocktails & the best part was getting to try 2 desserts as the last tasting! I would recommend to try it especially for anyone who is visiting & wants a nice meal!

One of the best meals I've ever had & certainly a highlight of our 5 weeks in Quebec City. We did lunch & swapped out the normal menu for a pescatarian option. Everything was phenomenal. I added the mocktail pairing & a few a la carte bites. The pairing was refreshing & sublime & can't say I've ever order a mocktail before. Highly recommend vs the normal wine pairing (which my wife enjoyed). For $55 CAD before pairings/a la carte, this is an amazing value for someone to try a Michelin restaurant. I might even have to come back for dinner before we leave.

To start off with the positive... The staff are really nice, & it has a great atmosphere. It has a really nice looking kitchen & a funky fun vibe.

The food was... not very good. It's not bad. If I went to a friends house & they somehow produced it I would simultaneously be awed & appreciative, but secretly a bit sad they obviously spent all this time making something that was so mediocre tasting.

They mentioned boreal & terroir a lot which caused me to think that it meant'we make it locally, which means it's environmentally conscious but, unfortunately, it's pretty mediocre tasting'. BUT we subsequently went to 2 other restaurants, very close by, with the same shtick, & those two really were amazing. (Those other two Michelin star places we went to really were amazing & made the'local' thing really work)

I realize LE Clan just got a Michelin star so it's possible that they just were so relieved they kind of phoned in this season's menu. Also I realize the chef is some kind of local genius & very beloved, the branding & art is really cool, etc.

But, honestly, if you're thinking about eating here, I honestly think you'd be happier saving your money & just getting poutine from Ashtons.

The staff really were very good though. No complaints about them.

(If it matters, which I'm not sure if it did because all the dishes was bland, we had a the recommended menu for lunch with the wine pairing).

This restaurant is amazing. We enjoyed the 6 course tasting menu with the discovery wine pairing. The food was excellent & the pairings were brilliant. The talent of the chef & staff is evident. Service was perfect & they went out of their way to relocate us from a warmer area to a cooler section. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is a true gem.

Nous avons sélectionné des plats à $5 pour le dîner & ils étaient tous savoureux, le bavarois de morue, la quenelle de poisson, la boulette de veau ainsi que la salade verte & que dire de la tarte aux pacanes, un délice. Le choix du vin recommandé par la sommelière convenait parfaitement. Le Clan mérite vraiment son étoile Michelin. Bravo à tous!

Lunch visit, so relatively good value for high quality food & both wine & non-alcoholic pairing. However overall a little disappointing due to feeling of lack of ownership & hence an impersonal experience. Small points like vacuuming carpet & leaving cables to climb over whilst customer is still in the restaurant is an indicator - I wouldn't do that at home with guests… Sadly I wouldn't really recommend albeit there's not a huge choice of good places in that area, so…on balance…perhaps lunch but not dinner!
