To be completely honest, this is a chain type fancier want to be restaurant. I asked for a comfortable more private table, so one was clearly free, & the restaurant was slowly emptying. Nonetheless I was told it was reserved for noon, & that specific table stayed empty until 1pm. It he menu is ok, staff is friendly, unfortunately the'bar' barista waiter, did not know how to make the coffee drinks. & basically asked me what were some of the drinks I asked for (caffee Machiato, one of the most basic coffee to know). Also I asked how he made the Caffe Moka, & the recipe he explained is just not the standard we would expect with a so well equiped barista station. (Used espresso mixed with chocolate milk). I asked for crepes with a few extras. Now just a friendy suggestion, receiving crepes on a thin rectangle plate that barely fits a folded crepe is not enjoyable & can create a mess fast!
The food was ok, definitely not fantastic.
On a thanksgiving Saturday this is very disappointing.
Great experience all around. Service was top notch, food was great & brought out in a reasonable amount of time, great menu options, & they were really good to our three young kids. Awesome location right across from the Plains of Abraham. Would come back for sure & recommend this option to any family visiting the area.
