Le Hobbit vit sur sa réputation, qui était excellente. Malheureusement, la gastronomie n'était pas à la hauteur du prix demandé. Seul élément positif, le charisme très particulier de la jeune personne qui nous a servi.

Saveur au rendez-vous dans les assiettes du plat au dessert !
(Juste petite critique constructive, le prix des plats valent ils la quantitée dans l'assiette ?)

Nous adorons ce restaurant depuis plusieurs années, malgré ses transformations au fil du temps. Ils ont maintenant une politique qui fait en sorte qu'ils gaspillent moins de nourriture (& nous aussi par le fait même). Certains disent que c'est cher mais si on prend le temps d'analyser la qualité de la nourriture sur motre table, au contraire, c'est un prix raisonnable. Un décor magnifique, situé dans un quartier qui bouge. Le Hobbit est toujours une option intéressante.

Une grosse déception!

J'y étais allée il y a quelques années & j'avais adoré. Je m'attendais à la même qualité & ce fut très décevant. Le personnel est courtois & sympathique, le décor impeccable, cependant la qualité des repas n'y étais pas. Le menu est un peu confus, il n'y a pas de séparation entre les entrées & les plats principaux. Certaines entrées sont assez grosses pour être un plat principal. Demandez conseil à la serveuse avant de commander. La soupe était à peine tiède, le pain servi avec également (pour 1.50$ de plus!) Ma terrine de porc était vraiment dure & je n'ai été capable de manger qu'un seul de mes raviolis qui étaient froids & visiblement trop cuits.

Je suis peut-être tombée sur une mauvaise journée, je ne suis pas une habituée de la place... Cependant, pour le prix, je n'y retournerai pas.
