The great story of a small bistro... Like a treasure buried in the heart of Faubourg St-Jean, a really well-kept secret ... the story of The Hobbit. This small, unpretentious bistro, is a reflection of the character of Tolkien, it carries with it the greatness of a story whose echo is still heard today at the cafe. Nous avons adorés les plats partagés. Qualité de la nourriture & la présentation sont excellentes. L'endroit est convivial dans un beau décor. Le service parfait. Bref on recommande cet endroit pour la qualité & la présentation soignés des plats. Une cuisine avec des produits du terroir à ne pas manquer.

Excellent resto à l'ambiance chaleureuse, personnels extraordinaires, très connaisseurs & décrivant l'ensemble des plats. Absolument tout est délicieux, plats en mode partagés , je recommande vivement!

J'ai commandé le burger de foie gras comme entrée & le canard comme reps principal, c'était délicieux. Cependant mon mari a commandé la trilogie d'oignons & c'est de l'oignon du début à la fin. Une purée de chou-fleur ou de champignons aurait pu être ajouté au plat afin de diversifier les saveurs. Puis il a commandé le bison en plat principal, une simple brochette sans accompagnement pour 23$, je ne recommande pas ce plat. Malheureusement nous ne pensons pas retourner à ce restaurant même si dans le passé nous avons été plus que satisfait

Service was fast & friendly (even for those whose French could use some work). The food was beautifully presented, the flavors were complex, & we felt we got a hearty breakfast that felt healthy enough that we weren't complete slugs for the rest of the day! Highly recommend

We went because it had been recommended by a friend. Our meals did not disappoint! The smoked mackerel with frog legs was unusual & delicious, & the beef tartare equally good. The buckwheat cookie & lemon ice cream dessert was a nice light finish!
