The great story of a small bistro... Like a treasure buried in the heart of Faubourg St-Jean, a really well-kept secret ... the story of The Hobbit. This small, unpretentious bistro, is a reflection of the character of Tolkien, it carries with it the greatness of a story whose echo is still heard today at the cafe. Excellent food & wait staff were great. Highly recommend this restaurant as the evening was really good for us. Only slight downside was a large 2family reservation with young kids who were there when we arrived. They made entire restaurant very loud. But finished soon after we arrived so it was much whiter once they gone.

Excellent dinner. Service was superb, very professional & friendly. We were a party of four, & every one of us came away extremely satisfied. It's busy, so I would recommend making reservations ahead of time. BTW, they don't take Amex, just so you know. This is a wonderful restaurant! I highly recommend it.

The best meal we had while visiting Quebec. The fresh soup was amazing. I had the Vegetarian Wellington & my husband had the Guinea Fowl. Both dishes exceeded our expectations. Dessert were outstanding. We had a reservation, highly recommends having. The restaurant is very quaint. .

Très bonnes préparations & présentations avec les explications de celles-ci. Prix raisonnables pour Québec. Personnel sympathique. À recommander. Par contre comme dans tout le Canada les vins sont chers.

Petit gastro charmant! Menu limité mais spécialisé & thématique "farm to table" génial ! Le staff est accueillant & sympathique (& ont des talents de chanteurs cachés), situé sur une rue très passante mais animée ! Je recommande sans honte à mes connaissances :)
