After a week of eating in Quebec city's most wonderful eateries,I had the opportunity to dine at Le Hobbit. I am so glad i didn't miss this restaurant. The staff is friendly & accommodating. They were patient as I butchered my way through ordering in French. The waitress smiled & was encouraging. The menu selections were creative & enticing. We ordered beef cheek gnochi & duck breast with foie gras. Both were beautiful to look at & even more wonderful to eat. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend Le Hobbit!

Dined at Le Hobbit as a family of 4, on the recommendation of a friend, while visiting Quebec City as part of a holiday to Ontario & Quebec . Both meal & service were excellent. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Quebec.

The food took about an hour to come out. I ordered the burger which was burnt & tasted like charcoal. Would never recommend to anyone.

The food was delicious & excellent. Cozy atmosphere. Enjoyed the server giving a brief highlight description of the food that is brought to the table.

We loved our dinner at Le Hobbit. The food was fresh, all homemade & everything we tried was so delicious. It was creatively prepared & presented without being too pretentious. The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm & friendly & included couples, groups & families. Although our server made a mistake with our order he did everything he could to correct his error & the quality of the food made us forget there was a problem! While everything we had was really great my favorite was a light maple mouse that was part of our chocolate dessert. The waiter said it was a creation of their pastry chef & was made from a light goat cheese, wine & maple syrup. Wonderful texture, not too sweet & very satisfying. We will recommend Le Hobbit to our food-loving friends traveling to Quebec in a couple of weeks.
