This small, unpretentious bistro, is a reflection of the character of Tolkien, it carries with it the greatness of a story whose echo is still heard today at the cafe. Wow. Reserved a spot online for a 7:30pm spot. I was glad I did as the room was quite full & the noise level was energetic. We were seated next to the front window, which was a very nice spot. I had the calamari & it was very tasty. For the main dish, we both had different cuts of beef with a couple glasses of the Bordeaux. They were cooked very well & extremely well flavoured. For dessert we two items that were absolutely mouth watering. One had chocolate & vanilla infused pears, while the other had a lemon theme. They were not heavy nor overly sweet, but a very nice finish to an excellent meal. Well done le Hobbit!

All 4 at our table had a great meal served by Isabelle!! I had the Buffalo Gnocchi, which was Great, others
had the fillet also perfect!! We would go again!!

Wonderful service, warm ambiance, & delicious, creative food. We enjoyed the salmon tartare, Quebecois halibut, & canard Wellington. Our only regret was that we didnt have room for dessert!
