This small, unpretentious bistro, is a reflection of the character of Tolkien, it carries with it the greatness of a story whose echo is still heard today at the cafe. First visit to The Hobbit & chose it as part of Quebec Exquis menu promotion. Wonderful 3 course meal with good wine pairings. Philip, our waiter & the other wait staff were excellent & it was nice to meet the manager on arrival for our reservation.

We had a wonderful dinner at ale Hobbit. We both had their special 3 course menu. We were both amazed at the flavor combinations of the sauces, cheeses & mushrooms. They combined wonderfully & the mushrooms were cooked perfect. The scalllops were firm but tender with great accompaniments. The dessert was another masterpiece of combining different cheeses & sauces for perfect combination.

It's a nice cozy restaurant. Friendly staff & good food. Sebastian made our dinner experience more enjoyable. Will definitely go back if I'm in Quebec.
