The great story of a small bistro... Like a treasure buried in the heart of Faubourg St-Jean, a really well-kept secret ... the story of The Hobbit. This small, unpretentious bistro, is a reflection of the character of Tolkien, it carries with it the greatness of a story whose echo is still heard today at the cafe. Quelle belle découverte! Nous avons été très bien servie par notre serveuse & par le sommelier qui nous ont bien conseillées. La nourriture était vraiment excellente & le vin également. Mention spéciale aux desserts qui étaient vraiment incroyables!

Tres tres decu , nous y avons ete pour déjeuner, nous avons recu des rôtie non brulé mais complètement calciné, nous étions gêné de retournée les roties, aucun sel & poivre sur la table le cafe est arrivee & du redemande a deux reprises pour avoir du lait 10 minutes plus tard. A l'arrivee de nos assiettes aucune confitures & ketchup apres avoir demande encore 10 minutes d'attente , alors pas manger très chaud. Nous etions 5 pour le dejeuner & avons pris rien de compliqué 5x 1 oeuf avec 1 viande & cafe sans refill faut le mentionné & une facture de 140$

Plus jamais je vais y retournee tres decu pour un restaurant avec mention michelin 2025… on repassera

While visiting my family in Quebec & attending my daughter's university graduation we celebrated this beautiful occasion in cute little restaurant.
I was very impressed with the location,
old town european atmosphere, delicious food, nice stylish decor & very nice service with the smile.
I'm attaching some photos of our food so it will definitely make you to stop at this place when you are visiting this beautiful city.

Portions don't make any sense. Definitely don't go there with kids. Very expensive for not so good food.
We ordered a couple starters based following recommendation & they weren't that good.
We had to stop at our hotel restaurant & get pasta for the kids, Spence they left the restaurant hungry.. even after we spent almost 300 dollars
