This small, unpretentious bistro, is a reflection of the character of Tolkien, it carries with it the greatness of a story whose echo is still heard today at the cafe. Je suis allée manger sur la terasse en semaine. Le service était vraiment lent. Nous avons reçu notre entrée & avons attendu 1h avant d'avoir notre repas principal. J'ai du interpellé le serveur plusieurs fois, il disait que notre commande avait été placé après les autres… le serveur nous a offert un verre gratuit pour s'escuser du délais mais je suis deçu du service. J'ai commandé les tacos &
Ils manquaient des ingrédients dans le plat par exemple les sauces. Pensant le souper de 6@8h, il y avait un chansonnier donc on ne s'entendait pas parler. Je pense que c'est une belle place pour prendre un drink mais je retournerais pas pour souper.

Le Hobbit is our new favorite spot in Quebec City. The food is excellently crafted with high quality ingredients. The menu is unique. The staff were all lovely. The atmosphere is cute. This is a perfect french style eatery that is not too abstract in form. It's just the right amount of elevated, while remaining practical as an eatery. I am so delighted have dined for their Easter dinner & then also for one of their fantastic breakfasts. I highly recommend Le Hobbit. Thank you so much. I cannot wait to come back.

Fantastic food I don't know if we had a designated waiter but all the staff was amazing!!! Best part is quality is way about the price they charge!!

Cute spot with really good service & really cute vibes. Like the name suggests, the ambiance is quite hobbit feeling. Cozy, comfortable & inviting.

The eggs benedict is a little odd - unique for sure, but not my cup of tea. A bit too different for my personal liking.

The chicken & waffles however were fantastic, & highly recommended.

The deviled eggs looked delicious, would definitely try those the next time I'm in town.

Lattes can use some work, but definitely one of the better lattes I've had at a brunch spot that isn't a dedicated cafe. Taste was good but latte art & milk texture needed some work.

Overall a great spot for brunch.

Un moment délicieux passé en solo mais qui n'a rien enlevé au plaisir passé chez le hobbit. Malgré le nom du restaurant qui laisse entendre qu'un petit être des livres de Tolkien s'y cache, tout ce que j'y ai trouvé c'est de la grande cuisine & un service impeccable. Un vrai régal que je compte bien renouveler à mon prochain passage pour un brunch cette fois ci peut être 😉
