The great story of a small bistro... Like a treasure buried in the heart of Faubourg St-Jean, a really well-kept secret ... the story of The Hobbit. This small, unpretentious bistro, is a reflection of the character of Tolkien, it carries with it the greatness of a story whose echo is still heard today at the cafe. Excellent mais les plats sont éhontément chers & leur contenu, ridiculement réduits. Exemple: minuscule coquille Saint-Jacques servie sur popcorn!! & « accompagnée » de légumes se réduisant à trois !!! feuilles de salade, un demi radis, deux rondelles minces de carotte & la moitié d'un concombre libanais! 33 $ avant taxes & pourboire!

Nous y sommes arrêté pour le déjeuner.
Excellent service & une assiette à un prix raisonnable.
Nous étions à l'intérieur mais sur le bord d'une fenêtre. Très agréable :)

Tout simplement parfait! Un service chaleureux & des plats succulents, une très belle découverte! Je recommande à tout le monde de s'y arrêter au moins une fois. La cuisine du Hobbit est très inspirée de la cuisine française, l'exécution est parfaite. Les saveurs sont au rendez-vous. On sent une réelle passion chez les personnes qui y travaillent, ça se retranscrit dans l'assiette !

Je suis allée manger sur la terasse en semaine. Le service était vraiment lent. Nous avons reçu notre entrée & avons attendu 1h avant d'avoir notre repas principal. J'ai du interpellé le serveur plusieurs fois, il disait que notre commande avait été placé après les autres… le serveur nous a offert un verre gratuit pour s'escuser du délais mais je suis deçu du service. J'ai commandé les tacos &
Ils manquaient des ingrédients dans le plat par exemple les sauces. Pensant le souper de 6@8h, il y avait un chansonnier donc on ne s'entendait pas parler. Je pense que c'est une belle place pour prendre un drink mais je retournerais pas pour souper.

Le Hobbit is our new favorite spot in Quebec City. The food is excellently crafted with high quality ingredients. The menu is unique. The staff were all lovely. The atmosphere is cute. This is a perfect french style eatery that is not too abstract in form. It's just the right amount of elevated, while remaining practical as an eatery. I am so delighted have dined for their Easter dinner & then also for one of their fantastic breakfasts. I highly recommend Le Hobbit. Thank you so much. I cannot wait to come back.
