The great story of a small bistro... Like a treasure buried in the heart of Faubourg St-Jean, a really well-kept secret ... the story of The Hobbit. This small, unpretentious bistro, is a reflection of the character of Tolkien, it carries with it the greatness of a story whose echo is still heard today at the cafe. Excellents repas pour 2. Nous avons opté pour un beignet à la courge & les cromesquis en amuse bouche. L'assiette de pieuvre confite ainsi que le raviole comme entrée. & la lotte bardée comme repas. L'entrée de pieuvre confite & les amuses bouchés étaient surprenants & excellents. L'assiette de lotte était bonne mais un peu blend à mon goût. Ma copine a toutefois adorée! Les portions sont suffisantes pour ma part si un amuse bouche, une entrée & un repas sont commandées. Voir photos (Photo 1: pieuvre & raviole. Photo 2: Lotte) Le tout pour une addition en bas de 100$ pour 2 (sans consommation), ce qui nous a surpris pour la qualité des repas & services.

This was the best food & cocktails I've ever had. This restaurant is a must if your in the city. Highly recommend the ravioli, steak & the yuzu sour. Bon appetite.

Maybe they're under staffed today but man the service is slow AF here.. been here for over an hour now & we only had a piece of bread that we ordered 30 mins ago.. would not come here again considering how slow they are. Really disappointed because this is my husband & my last dinner in Quebec before we leave to Boston.

Le Hobbit was a lovely restaurant but my wife & I found our three dishes to be quite bland. The portions were so small that we ended up at a nearby crepe shop just to have a full stomach. For the price paid, I would've liked to have left with a better experience.

Amazing place for breakfast. The food was ohenomenal & the staff were very accomodating to us english speakers. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone coming to Quebec City
