Excellent food freshly cooked original ingredients interesting flavours- they were very accommodating to vegetarians. Party of five all had excellent food, the lions main was super. One of the best meals I have had in many years!! & don't forget the desserts they are equally as good & original all with sharp & contrasting flavours.
Nous sommes tombés sur ce restaurant par hasard lors d'une promenade sur la rue St-Jean, le nom nous a interpellé & quelle magnifique découverte! La lecture du menu donne envie de tout goûter, le service est convivial, les plats magnifiques & succulents. Ce fût un vrai régal des entrées aux desserts. Un merci tout particulier à notre serveuse Valérie qui a rendue l'expérience encore plus inoubliable. C'est sur que nous reviendrons.

A gem in Quebec! Vacation food is often taken over by pub after pub, Caesar salad, fish & chips, & other friend foods. La Hobbit (in addition to having an awesome name) was a breathe of fresh air. Many little plates of carefully crafted delicacies covered our table in a mosaic of sights & aromas. Even the bread & butter was amazing! The wait staff was knowledgeable of the menu & helped us navigate some tricky dietary restrictions. Added bonus, the cocktail menu was great too. If I"m ever back in Quebec, this is my only stop for dinner.
Creative combination of flavour & texture. Enjoyed the whole meal all way from appetiser, main & dessert. Great servers explained every dish. Will definitely come back.
Had a great but light brunch here, with super friendly & informative service (thanks for being so amazing)! We had the salmon gravlax, which was the highlight dish, we would definitely recommend. We had an Eggs Benedict which was very good too, & finally had a very refreshing cucumber drink which was recommended by the staff, lived up to its refreshing & tasty recommendation. A cute spot with nice indoor seating & a small outdoor patio too. Their dinner menu looked very appetizing & look forward to trying that in the future. Thanks!
Nous étions déjà allés à quelques reprises au Hobbit pour le brunch seulement & avions adoré l'expérience, alors pour mon anniversaire nous sommes allés pour essayer le souper. Ayant mentionné que c'était pour mon anniversaire lors de la réservation, on s'est fait accueillir avec des verres de bulles. La nourriture est incroyable, gros coup de coeur pour les patates à chaque fois qu'on vient tant pour le brunch que pour le souper (Un incontournable, peu importe sa forme!) Nous adorons la formule tapas qui nous permet de goûter à pleins de trucs. Petit hic sur le délai d'attente au moment des desserts, mais compensé par la bonne ambiance & l'excellent service de notre serveur. Excellent rapport qualité-prix, un des meilleurs resto à Québec !
Restaurant très bien décoré, personnel très sympathique & serviable & surtout, la nourriture était absolument délicieuse, pour un prix absolument correct. Très très bonne adresse!
Terrific brunch experience. The eggs benedict is a classic, but you must also get the salmon gravlax! The whole restaurant was being served by one friendly & wonderful man named Simon. Thanks for a perfect start to the day!
