This small, unpretentious bistro, is a reflection of the character of Tolkien, it carries with it the greatness of a story whose echo is still heard today at the cafe. Cute neighborhood restaurant, cozy atmosphere, friendly & helpful staff. & the best part: the food is exceptional. Creatively & artistically created with just the right balance of tastes & textures. Different than anything we've had yet in Quebec. Excellent blood pudding - never had it before but tried it & was delighted. The open ravioli was delicious. & the figs & goat cheese mousse for dessert. Wow! Worth an effort to get there.

Some of the best breakfast I've ever had. Absolutely amazing. I will go back every single time I am in quebec city. I would even go out of my way to go here.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a wonderful dinner! Our server, Chris was hands-down one of the best ever! He was warm, welcoming, informative & took time to explain everything to us. We enjoyed the warm bread & butter then split several small plates followed by dessert. This is a hidden gem in Quebec City that deserves a five star rating!
