This small, unpretentious bistro, is a reflection of the character of Tolkien, it carries with it the greatness of a story whose echo is still heard today at the cafe. Best & most interesting eggs Benedict I ever had. Quick service & delicious food on a beautiful street. Highly recommend! Suggest adding roasted potatoes to it so you don't waste the last bit of sauce!

Super menu pour le brunch avec ingrédients recherchés. Nous avons essayé le pain perdu aux carottes ( un incontournable si vous avez une dent sucrée) & les brioches à la courges (délicieuses). Le serveur était très attentionné & on ne s'est pas senties rushées.

Highly recommend. Visiting & we decided to try based on Reddit recommendations. Cozy atmosphere, top service from servers who clearly care about the experience & the food was both creative & flavourful. Cocktails were also amazing.

Magnifique moment dans ce restaurant aux plats copieux & savoureux. Les goûts sont là, les plats travaillés, un regal, nous y sommes revenus 2 fois durant notre court séjour à Québec ! N'hésitez pas, bon appétit 😉

Good food & excellent service. We enjoyed the experience & the insight from the super helpful staff. Visiting from Tennessee & the U.S. we were amazed that the red wine was poured at cellar temperature. I think I am going to like Quebec.

Wow. That's all I can say. This is the most unique & tasty restaurant I've ever tried , having travelled to most major cities in Canada. The service was 10/10, our server was so attentive, funny & kind. Explained everything really well. The price to portion ratio is great, very reasonable portions for the mains. Nice relaxing ambiance. Drinks were carefully crafted, same with the food. We tried the old fashioned, negroni, non alcoholic spritz, chicken & the catch of the day. Just a perfect experience overall. Thank you.
